Wellington Sighting?

This evening, Rob and I were leaving our local Barnes & Noble where we’d done a little Christmas shopping, and as we reached our car, I looked up and saw a very weird thing in the sky. The evening was cool, cloudless, and this object was extremely bright and uniformly white. It was similar to what’s shown in the video above, except that it was larger, brighter, and much whiter.

“Hey, Rob,” I said, and pointed upward. “Is that a chopper?”

We often have choppers flying around our area- usually police helicopters that are low, noisy, and have their spotlights focused on a particular street where something questionable or illegal is going on.

But this object didn’t make a sound. It was around 1500 feet up when we first saw it, then dropped lower, to perhaps 500 feet, then to maybe 200 feet, then sped up and went higher, then lower again. Its brightness never diminished and we never heard a sound.

I had to go to Walgreen’s, so Rob parked on the dark side of the lot while I was inside the store and watched it. He said it dropped very low and he could see it through some distant trees.

When I came out of Walgreen’s, the light was still visible, but now there was a small plane in the air that appeared to be headed toward it.

As we braked at a stop light on our way out of the shopping area, a yoga instructor we know pulled into the lane next to us and we lowered the window. We spoke to her for a few moments, till the light changed, and mentioned what we’d seen. But when the light turned green and we moved forward again, the light had vanished. The small plane was alone in the sky and barely visible in the distance.

If there’s a synchro in this, it’s that one of the books we’d bought was Extra-Planetary Experiences: Alien-Human Contact and the Expansion of Consciousness by Thomas James Streicher, a student of Harvard author, psychiatrist and UFO research John Mack. I figured the book wouldn’t make it under the Christmas tree because either Rob or I would sneak away with it. Interestingly, our Barnes & Noble stocks very few New Age books and when Rob picked up this particular book, one of the few on UFOs/aliens, he glanced through it and handed it to me.

“Look at the table of contents. I think this is a keeper.”

I looked at the TOC and into our pile it went.

I later texted Ken Peterson about the incident and explained the details. That’s probably it, he wrote. They may have been letting you know that there is important info in the book.

To this, I replied, Is the communication that personal? Hey, Macs, you bought a book with important info in it?

Ken’s reply: Yes, I think so. I think some contact is close at hand. Can’t wait to find out what you read about. That was a long time they were out there!

So, we’ll see where this one leads! I’m going to be reading this book at the gym tomorrow.

  1. Wow a personal message from a UFO – interesting thought. Wonder if anyone else witnessed / reported what you saw. Also wonder if you will now get a spate of sightings or contacts – similar to how synchros flow after they have been experienced. Wait the next instalment!

  2. Nancy says:

The one that I saw close up was not an orb, it was a ship. I think the one in the video was some kind of orb. Some people have theorized that orbs are living ET beings.

  3. There is something about this sighting that reminds me of the sighting/encounter our son had near the cemetery in Tennessee last year. Of note: in this video, the moon is pretty far to the left of the orb/ufo behind a cloud and is reflected in the water, so it isn’t the moon. Also of note, our son has moved back to Florida and is currently living with us, and the sightings and encounters have increased significantly since he arrived home. I continue to wonder if there are folks who, for some unknown reason, “draw” the UFOs to them unintentionally. No doubt they do seem to “follow” certain people. Brings to mind, yet again, the possible connecti0n between them and the AfterLife. Our immediate next door neighbor, aged only 50, died very recently of metastatic cancer, and since her death, we’ve had several black coptors hovering as well as several up close and personal sightings. High weirdness.

    • Rob and Trish says:

The video isn’t what we saw. We used it just to show the brightness of the object.

      • Yep, I understood that. It’s a great illustration of what you two saw, I imagine. It’s often difficult to catch these things on film. Our son decided some time ago that he’ll always use his “cheap” camera phone to try to get a photo when he sees one. He has a really, really good cell phone with all the bells and whistles, etc., but keeps the cheaper one on hand because those pics can’t be altered. He also has a professional photographer’s camera with all the equipment, but never, ever uses that to try to get pics of the UFOs or whatever they may be, due to the doubt and debunking that can be raised when professional
cameras are used. He has nothing to gain by trying to “fool” anybody, so he is very conscientious about his photos. Often what he sees has mundane explanations. Nevertheless he does as well get legitimate pics of what appear to be some kind of unidentifiable flying objects. For years I had one of the old Polaroid cameras, and got tons of not-of-this-world photos with it. (Orbs, spirit faces and forms, discarnate faces overlaying “living” people’s faces….those kinds of things). It was one of those that you just pointed and snapped and the pic developed inside the camera then came sliding out. Still have it, but they don’t make the film for these anymore, so it’s a relic. We once attempted to get a shot with it of a daytime UFO flying in front of our vehicle and hovering there, but the only thing we got was a very bright light. I’d give a lot to be able to get some of that film NOW! Alas, it isn’t manufactured anymore. Speaking of professional photographers, there was a Navy photographer living across the street from us in GA. HUGE skeptic about things that go bump in the night. Our family and his went to visit an old plantation in GA, and he took his Hasselblad, tripod, all the works, with the full intent to disprove the reality of such “stuff”. He wouldn’t allow our son or me near his equipment, not even the film. We walked around the old property, and whenever I would sense or see or feel the presence of “something”, Jack took a picture wherever I pointed, and his wife Judy wrote down exactly where we were and the number of the photo. There were lots. He developed his own film. He practically went into shock, because he KNEW no one had touched his camera or film, yet the photos had many images of spooks and such. Jack later became a card-carrying Rosicrucian! This isn’t relevant to the UFO material, just to things that go bump in the night !
