Watch the sparrow who joins Bernie Sanders at a rally in Portland, Oregon. I think this is a terrific sign! Here’s the synchro. In P0rtland, there’s a saying- that comes from Portlandia – which is “to put a bird on it.”

LOL. It was just a bird. I have a part time job at the Moda Center and was told that the bird has a nest up in the rafters and has flown down to check out other events, too. It lives in the Moda Center.
That is just too great! Thanks for sharing! I loved when he said that it was really a dove for world peace………..because the common house sparrow to me represents the common human as well, humble and sweet voiced and ubiquitous.
Birds as Messengers, YES.
On my Dad’s final day of life, as he lay in a deep coma at Emory in Atlanta, a tiny bluebird sat outside his room on the window sill and sang, all day long. My Mother was sitting close to the window and she “talked” to that tiny bird as if it could hear her. It wasn’t afraid of her, and until the thunderstorm began, the little bluebird sat there and sang its song. Later, my Mother found this passage in her Bible:
“………FOR A BIRD OF THE AIR SHALL CARRY THE VOICE, AND THAT WHICH HATH WINGS SHALL TELL THE MATTER.” ECCLESIASTES 10:20
Perhaps Bernie’s little bird, so unafraid, so bold yet so tiny, was the omen we all need to have awareness that our Hope lays with Bernie Sanders…..
Birds as messengers…
I see that this bird was all over the news this morning. I thought it pretty amazing that a bird would have the fearlessness to fly into such a space. It made me think of Casteneda and all his “signs.” Remember him?
The bird certainly boded well for Bernie’s wins on Saturday! Castaneda… ah, yes.
I have simply loved this and actually thought about you, Trish, when it happened. What a beautiful message! 🙂
Extraordinary message!
That’s great – the way the sparrow sits for so long despite the applause and noise.
Courageous bird with a message!
We love our birds in Portland, and obviously, they love Bernie, too.
I really see him as our last best hope.
