It is a film worth viewing,and in my opinion is a true work of art by all involved.
Not everybodies cup of tea,I suppose,but I think those that take a sip,will find it quite has quite a refreshing taste to what’s on offer by the big studios cola concoctions.
I can’t wait to see Malick’s “The Tree of Life” also.It seems to be getting good reviews. https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/the_tree_of_life_2011/
They might have made a good double feature,by the looks.Although I’m sure some people won’t be able to see the trees for the forest .-) https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/the_tree_2010/
That looks good – haven’t heard about it previously. Thanks.
This isn’t showing up on my screen. Just the comments, not the post.
It must be your screen, it’s not the post, Adele.
I came back and it was loaded. I guess it just took a long time.
On my list. Thanks.
whoever sees it first should do a review!
Looks like a beauty!
Oddly enough Malick and Penn were both involved in filming another film
“The Thin Red Line”

(or most of it,anyway… He shot for 100 days in Australia, 24 days in the Solomon Islands and three days in the United States) in my home state Queensland,were “The Tree” was filmed.
My weird synchros surrounding the “The Tree” are told on my blog here;
