There’s no synchro here. But there is endless cuteness! The above pic was taken shortly after Nigel joined the family and Noah and Nigel seem to be communicating here.
Noah: Dude, you’re really little.
Nigel: Not for long. Look how big my paws are.
Noah: I’ve been here more than 7 years, so that means I’m top dog.
Nigel: No problem. I just want to live with a family who loves me.
Noah: Then you’ve come to the right place.
Nigel was about 10 and a half weeks here.
Here’s a photo of Nigel during his first hurricane – Irma.
Nigel, thinking to self: Uh, something bad happened here. We’re all okay, but the yard is a real mess.
Nigel, first trip to vet’s office: Uh, why’s the door shut? Where’s Noah?
Now here he is, loving his first night with cool weather, hauling around a toy panda almost as large as he is. Nearly 15 weeks old now.
And here with Noah.
Nigel: See that big red dog? He’s my mentor.
I had to chuckle at Lauren’s comments! When our oldest son moved from next door, he couldn’t take his tuxedo cat, Thoth, with him. So Grandpa adopted Thoth. He’s an indoor-outdoor kitty, at his own pleasure. We had him prior to bringing my Lab puppy home, and it took about five minutes for Thoth to let the pup understand, in no uncertain terms, who was the BOSS here! Once Super-Cat made that clear, he and Storm became great friends. Kitty is a senior now, getting old and fat and lazy, but still is King of the Hill! Storm seems to know when his feline friend wants to play and when he wants to be left alone. Gotta be an animal-language thing going on there! Such delight and joy they bring into our lives! I always love the posts and photos of the MacGregor four-legged furry family! 🙂
Im so not a dog person, but there are a very few dogs I love – Golden Retrievers, Labs, and oddly, delightful little Shelties. But alas, my cats would never, ever put up with such an intrusion.
Once our cats get over the initial surprise – and Nigel got a good smack on the nose from our orange tiger, Simba- things have been fine.
For me, there is not a single thing in this world that brings bigger smiles than puppies and dogs and kittens and cats…..and peach-faced lovebirds! Thanks for making my day bright!! I wanna hug Nigel! Waaaaa!!!! He’d be spoiled rotten in a New York minute!!
And what a great mentor he has in Big Noah! Has he met Megan’s Nika yet?
Nika and Nigel met the first week we had him, when he was just 10 weeks old. She didn’t seem to know what to think of him!
Thanks for sharing! They are so sweet!!
Amazing how fast these little guys grow up! My Mom always said they should make a growth-inhibiting pill to keep them cute puppies forever! LOL
A wise mom, Dale!
Sooooooo adorable!
True!!
What sweet critters! I love all the pictures of Nigel and Noah. Thank you so much for sharing them with me. 🙂
They’re cuties, for sure!
