Spirits Speak

At your next family gathering, bring up the topic of spirit communication. The reaction of the group will tell you quite a bit about how people generally regard the whole subject of ghost/spirits and contact with the dead. There are likely to be three types of reactions: snickers and rolling of the eyes, intrigue and fascination, and family members or relatives who eagerly relate their own experiences with spirits and spirit contact.

The most recent statistics on people who believe in spirits and ghosts come from 2012, in a Huffington Post/Yougov survey. It indicates that 64 percent of Americans believe in life after death and 45 percent believe that ghosts or the spirits of the dead can interact with the living. These statistic are startling different from a 1978 survey that indicated only 11 percent of people believe in ghosts and spirits. What caused the dramatic increase?

The most obvious cause is the dramatic changes that have occurred culturally and globally in 40 years. In 1978, for instance, the Internet as we know it and social media didn’t exist. The most popular TV shows were Laverne & Shirley, Three’s Company, Mork & Mindy, and Happy Days. Compare these to the top three shows in 2018: Game of Thrones, Stranger Things, The Walking Dead. In 1978, paranormal reality shows like Ghost Hunters didn’t exist, cable TV didn’t exist, and streaming hadn’t even been conceived. In 2018, according to The Hollywood Reporter, more than 500 scripted series are ready to air and many of them will be streaming.

In 1978, people got their news from newspapers and the evening news. 40 years later, news is instantaneous and we have access to it 24/7 through a vast number of venues – websites, blogs, online newspapers and magazines. Also, scientists and writers like Dean Radin, Rupert Sheldrake, Bernard Beitman, M.D. and others are undertaking serious research about the nature of human consciousness.

Another question to consider: as more people become aware that spirit contact is possible, does it happens more frequently? We believe so and that’s why we’ve written Secrets of Spirit Communication.

I’m so happy to be back online, and am stunned by the subject in this post! I sent my experience to Rob and Trish via email but am not sure it reached them, so will share it here. Even though I was born a psychic/medium and have had countless contacts with other-dimensional entities, this one grabbed me by my heart-strings. I’ll need to get a bit personal here and asked the SynchroSecret gang to please bear with me on that because there will necessarily be a few repeat comments previously posted here on the blog.

These last several weeks have been extremely challenging in various areas of my life. I have Stage Three/Four Parkinson’s Disease. Difficult enough. But I have developed serious eye issues in my left eye and only have about 32% vision. I had been scheduled for surgery in early May, but the surgeon had to re-schedule it for yesterday, May 24. When I went for my pre-op workup Monday, we discovered I have a serious bacterial infection that must be totally cleared before he can touch the affected eye. Thus, he put me on powerful antibiotic drops and re-scheduled me yet again…this time for mid-June.

Must back-pedal….my Dad died at the age of 42 when I was 18. He had a glioblastoma multiforme in his left temporal lobe, (same as Anne Strieber), with metastasis to other organs. Although I have a wonderful husband in a 54-year marriage, (YIKES!), and three amazing sons, my Dad has been the most significant Soul in this lifetime for me. He was magnificent. Could write a book about his apparent purpose in coming to Earth, but will refrain and just tell the awesome contact with him this week.

Through the decades as a medium, for some unknown reason, I’ve never called out to him, but he has, on occasion, appeared to me with messages, and I’ve been conscious of his Presence. These past several very difficult weeks, from time to time, I’ve had a sudden “pin-stick” in my left temporal lobe, about four inches back from my hairline. A sharp, needle-type stick, here then gone. I attributed it to the eye issue.

After my pre-surg appt when I learned no surgery until mid-June, I was wide awake that nite in my bed, couldn’t sleep or doze. I was being a real wuss, weeping like a baby, and out loud, in tears, asked, “Daddy, are you here? Can you please come spend a little while with me?” As soon as I ask, that pin-stick struck again, this time hard and slightly longer, and I just as suddenly recognized that it was my Dad….he was using the site of his illness to let me know he was absolutely here! More extraordinary, there was a word spoken, just a word, by an unseen voice, and the word was printed in front of my closed eyes. The word was UBIQUITUS. It was a word unfamiliar to me, and fearing I wouldn’t later recall it, I got out of bed, came to the computer, and typed it. Searched definition, and was blown away. That word means “BEING EVERYWHERE SIMULTANEOUSLY. BEING IN MANY PLACES AT THE SAME TIME.” Could there ever have been a more blatant response from a multi-dimensional entity?
Not only did my Dad tell me he was here, but that he is EVERYWHERE. For me, confirmation that when we are free of these Earth-bound fragile rags, we are TRULY FREE. It also let me understand that the ‘pin-pricks’ I’ve been experiencing during these past troubling weeks was him, letting me know he is here.

Awesome. Can’t define my joy, and wanted to share it here. It is so relative to the subject of the post! Please overlook the length of this comment. Couldn’t make it more brief.

Wow! Incredible, CJ. An absolutely stunning story.

We never got the email, but I’m going to copy your experience so we can post it separately at some point. A really wonderful instance of spirit contact.

  2. Priscilla says:

Trish, Did I tell you about the picture I got of a ghost when we were in the Keys?

  3. jesus says:

Trish and Rob, thanks! And thanks for sharing your great posts every week!

  4. Natalie says:

    Agreed!
I had an experience the other night, when I got up to go to the toilet. I saw a “fog” just outside the toilet door, then it floated slowly next door to the bathroom. I freaked out and told it to go away. Haven’t seen it again.

Just pre-ordered my copy at Amazon! 🙂

Mini synchro, too: A few minutes ago a red cardinal landed atop the hose reel outside my window, then flew across the yard and perched atop the wooden windmill we built recently. A few minutes later, I read this post and saw the cardinals on the cover! How cool is THAT? 🙂

This comment came from Marie Lentine, also through facebook:

I’m a firm believer….having had many different experiences…good and not so pleasant.

Love the blog post! One hundred percent correct when you talk about the three different reactions of folks when the subject arises. I just have to laugh sometimes at the eye rolls. And worse.
