Matrix was too weird for me (I didn’t see it until circa 2007). The Thirteenth Floor is a much more sophisticated and intelligent film about alternate / virtual realities. It rings eerily true in its depiction of multiple parallel worlds coexisting all at once. In fact, it’s one of my all-time favorite movies, and one I consider absolutely perfect. If you haven’t seen if before, I recommend it best viewed on a dark, rainy day. 🙂
