Security Cameras and Spirit Contact

Ever since Carol Libutti emailed me the image of what her Nest camera had captured, I’ve wanted one of these spy cameras.

This image appeared on her Nest about five or six hours after her beloved dog was put down. It hovered above the couch where it used to hang out.

So Megan gifted us one of these cams for Xmas and I set it up in the living room to spy on our two cats and dog when we’re gone. Like, who’s eating the cat food?? Are the cats getting along? At 1:20 AM this morning (Jan 21) this video appeared on our cam:

So what is this – insect? Spirit? Something else? And if the latter, then what kind of something else?

Have you had an animal pass within the last couple of years? Or a companion to the ones you have? I’ve seen them move like that, unembodied. Perhaps even in their dream state, your animals can move like that.

We lost 2 cats and a dog in 2019

      • Iysa says:

So sorry to hear. I was working with a friend who is herself no longer with us when I first noticed that movement in one of her dogs who was approaching transition. My own cat died in 2015. He was with me for two months afterward and intermittently for the next three years. He was my only companion. Since your family includes other animals, one or more are probably dropping by for a visit. They are able to communicate far more easily than we do. Especially the cats are, I believe, multidimensional beings.

        • Trish and Rob says:

I suspect that’s the case, Lysa. How fortunate you were to have your cat drop in from time to time. I’ve
felt some of these animals around from time to time, but nothing quite as startling as that first image, of the spirit of Carol’s dog. So hen I saw that flying image on our security cam, I hoped it was Kali, our dusky conure. Is your cat still dropping in?

          • Iysa says:

From time to time, I get a sense of the cat part of him. But he needed to move on in 2018. They all return home eventually. Like us, they are reborn and they can come back to you. Truly I believe that the earth is herself the group soul of all animals. Her gift to those of us who are visitors or volunteers.

2019 was just last year. They are probably still around and you can open up a communication with Kali by feeling love and gratitude for her. It sounds simple, I know. But it builds a bridge. The distance between you isn’t physical.

If you are interested, there is someone who does this work full time. She helped me to stay in touch with my cat, Dominic. Dr. Laurie Moore, animal communicator. I just did a search for her online and she’s still out there.

            • Trish and Rob says:

Kali actually died in 2005. The two ctd and our dog, Noah, were last year. Two weeks after Noah died, I had a reading with Heather Bristol, an animal communicator who lives in central Florida. It was insightful and resonated.

Interesting that your cat moved on on 2018. Have you gotten another cat?

              • Iysa says:

I am 65 and worried about outliving another cat. There are no family members or friends, that come to mind at this moment, who would be willing to provide a home for my cat if something were to happen to me. Also, ensuring quality of life or even a healthy life for any animal is difficult on my income. Domi’s experience of low income housing, where there is little outdoor space, left much to be desired until he became immobilized by severe arthritis when he turned 10. Access to veterinary care was challenging for most of the eighteen years we shared as family.

That being said, we were life partners. I would not trade that painful last year we spent together for anything or anyone. I was devastated when I lost him.

I’m not sure I could do it again.

                • Trish and Rob says:

I understand. It’s so painful when we lose a pet. It’s just that sometimes getting another pet relieves the loss.

                  • Iysa says:

My thanks for your compassion and your kind words. Your losses are much fresher than mine. I do believe that little light flying across your screen belongs to one of them. My love and best wishes for your healing journey as it continues. It doesn’t seem to be over just yet.

                    • Trish and Rob says:

In a number of our books, we talk about spirit contact through animals, synchronicity that occurs through animal messengers, and animals as guides. In the synchronicity highway, there’s a story about a pair of swallows that flew into our car windshield that portended a skydiving mishap our daughter had 11 days later. I’m pretty sure it’s also on the blog somewhere. Anyway…. I wish you the bet fot for your healing journey, too. And I really hope you get another cat soon. Somewhere out there a rescued cat needs you!

Looks like an insect. The weather has been warm here in the south for most of this winter, and I still see bugs flying around. It’s crazy!

  3. Adele says:

Well what ever it is it sure looks like something.

  4. Hilary says:

Did it pick up audio? I thought I heard something with the flyby?

  5. Darren B says:

    A mini UAP 🙂
