Coco & Jen

This story comes from long-time friend, Jennifer, with whom I taught with years ago. This is her beloved Coco, a standard poodle whom she rescued and who died December 30, 2019. This beautiful spirit contact story happened on Halloween.

From Jen:

Some neighbor kids trick or treaters came to the door and as they were running away with their candy one little girl looked back and told me that she misses Coconut. So I shouted back, “Thank you, Grace, you made me very happy to hear that you loved him, too.”

I immediately called my mom in Massachusetts and told her about the trick or treater who misses Coconut. Mom said that Coco was trying to send me a message. I said,  “Mom I have to hang up and answer the door because there are more trick or treaters.”

I hung up the phone, answered the door, and said to the kids, “Hey, who are you? I think I know you”. The two girls replied, “We’re from Coco”

I didn’t know what that meant, so they explained. Holloween is also known as the day of the dead and they told me  Day of the Dead costumes were from the movie Coco.

So those few minutes talking with my Mom were bookended by Coconut reaching out to me! And My mom in Massachusetts knew it before I realized it!

As Jen says: Canine Good Citizen. Coco was almost always serious. He loved being the referee and sternly breaking up fights at the dog park.

Awww!!! That’s BEAUTIFUL❤❤❤ I do believe that animals have spirits…I had a Pomeranian that passed many years ago…She was my baby…A few days after her passing, I could hear her speak to me just as the spirit world does…She gave me directions to a place I jad never been…I told my ex husband what had happened…He knew exactly where I was speaking if because that is where he had gotten Allie (long before we had dated)…We went to the man’s home and he one puppy to sell…It was Allie’s grandbaby…We took her home and I knew that Allie wanted to try to heal my pain…Animals are so much love…I’m so glad that Jennifer reconnected with her baby❤❤❤ So heart-felt

Aw, that’s too sweet. We lost our little doxie named Coco last summer. It was devastating, but the day I was shopping for her memorial urn, I went to the fridge to refill my drink, opened the door and saw directly in front of me at eye-level, a carton of Daisy sour cream, and I immediately knew that Coco would return to us with that name. Two months later, we brought our new doxie puppy home and named her Daisy, per Coco’s wishes. And, remarkably, she was born less than a month after Coco left us – her birthday being literally the day after Coco’s! This confirmed that we got the dog we were supposed to have, and our sweet Coco is with us again. As messed up as our world can be sometimes, the universe is a wonderful place! 🙂

Animals are the most profoundly loving experiences that are offered to us. Unconditional love, no strings.
