The full moon in Leo on January 28 squares both Uranus and Mars – within one degree for each of them. Squares are challenging. This one could create friction with people in your personal or work environment and the disagreement seems to come out of nowhere. Mars and Uranus also square Jupiter and the sun, so the friction may feel worse than it actually is or could swell quickly. Bet advice: back off.
The good news is that Jupiter and the sun are conjunct in Aquarius, the sign of the rebel, the visionary, the inventor. Any time Jupiter conjuncts the sun, the bottom line is that it should be a lucky day. If nothing else, buy a lottery ticket!
For the impact of this moon on your sun sign, check January’s forecast in the at the top of the blog.
The antivertex is at the exact Mars/Uranus midpoint. Survival patterns shifting throughout the collective. A full moon square hits that point with the intensity of a laser. These changes are highly emotional and there’s tremendous resistance to the breaking up of these old patterns. I didn’t have to look at a chart to see it happening but it’s interesting the way group life gets mirrored by these lunation cycles in charts.
Wow, so maybe the #23 in the degree of this moon really does mean Splitting Apart, just like in the I Ching hexagram.
The vertex itself is a fateful point in the chart that describes how people and events come together. This would suggest that “splitting apart” is an apt description for what is now going on at the antivertex. Usually the antivertex is more of a default position for returning to what we know. With this configuration, we have a collective status quo that feels personal. It’s in the 11th house which makes it a group event. “Splitting apart” is not always a bad thing.
Speaking of lottery tickets – am sure you saw the news that the winner of the big lottery was predicted by a dream. Tell that to all the naysayers about the truth and power of dreams.
I saw that!
I saw that! The power of dreams!
