A Weird Sign

Recently, our daughter, Megan, went to a playhouse in Orlando. She texted us the sign outside the women’s restroom. It’s not a synchronicity, but it’s clever and made me laugh when I saw it.

If you had have posted this on July 2nd that would have been somewhat of a synchronicity, as July 2nd is World UFO Day according to this Wikipedia entry –
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_UFO_Day

… or even June 24th, too, according to the same Wiki article.
But it looks like July 2nd seems to be the preferred date.
At least having two dates for ‘World UFO Day’ gives the “WOKE” crowd something more to argue over as they dream on 😉

I’ll have to check on which day I wrote it up!

I wrote a post about World UFO Day a few days ago (it’s 8 o’clock in the morning on July 4th as I write this) which featured a link to a post where you and Rob were talking on the Grimemrica podcast about your alien book –

Ironically, I just realized July 4th is a big holiday for you guys, but means nothing over on this side of the planet for us Australians, other than July 4th is an American summer holiday we see being celebrated on the other-side of the world on TV in the middle of our winter.
It’s my youngest son’s birthday is tomorrow (July 5th) so we are getting together to watch our footy team the Sharks play the local team (a team I can’t stand) the Brisbane Broncos on TV at my place (since we couldn’t get to the live game today) and over takeaway pizza, and share a celebration of him making one more trip around the sun on spaceship Earth. 🙂

I’ll take a look, Daz. Thanks. Happy birthday to your son! I read that Brisbane is in lockdown. True?

          • Darren B says:

My part of surrounding Brisbane come out of lock-down 6pm on Friday and Brisbane proper came out of lock-down 24 hours later.

So it was brief. Did it work?

              • Darren B says:

Not really, as there is still the Delta strain out there in the community, but in small numbers.
Although only about 5% of Australians have been vaccinated so far, thanks to our politicians ballsing things up with the vaccine roll-out.
They’ve shut the gate, but the horse has bolted.
I’ve had my first Pfizer shot a week ago and am booked for my second in 2 weeks time.
