van Gogh Immersion Exhibit in Miami

 

This van Gogh exhibit is showing in various places throughout the country. If you get a chance to see it, by all means do so. The videos I took were too long to get on the blog, but these stills give you some sense of the man’s stunning genius.

Everything is moving as you enter – the images on the floor, the walls, in front of you. You’re pretty much walking into van Gogh’s colorful world. He sold only one painting in his lifetime.

On 15 May 1990 The Portrait of Doctor Gachet was sold within three minutes for $82.5 million (U.S.) to Ryoei Saito, Japan’s second-largest paper manufacturer.
