She really was, Cheryl. They all have a certain beauty and magic and wisdom but Nika…well, I always felt she was a human occupying a dog’s body.
I believe that Nika, like Dom, was part universe being, part earth soul (I could say divine but soul seems like a more personal placeholder for that energy). That’s why she has memories of other lives on other planets. Other animals she loved but her link was meant for a human. She loved Megan but so many other animals in the link made it difficult for her to express that part of herself. She loved the intensity of that expression with you and Rob and was able to be a mentor and companion for Nigel. She was an exquisite persona.
