RFK Jr.: the collective madness

Republican politicians blindly following trump

The nomination of RFK Jr. to head Health & Human Services is insane. He’s not a physician, has no medical background, is a virulent anti-vaxxer, and during his confirmation hearing today, appeared to be confused about Medicaid and Medicare. If he’s confirmed, this country is in for a shit show resurgence of pandemics – with measles, mumps, polio, all the diseases for which kids are now vaccinated and then some.

But even if you agree with his anti-vax stance, even if the republicans who follow trump so blindly, who in their right mind can approve of a man so cruel and inhumane that he put live chicks and mice in a blender to feed to his hawk? No wonder his cousin Caroline Kennedy referred to him as a predator.

We now live within a collective American madness, an upside down world where trumpies  apparently believe the orange man is  their christ, who will save them from the horrors of democracy when he becomes what he always has aspired to be- a dictator.

It’s all too frightening. I have been waiting for one of my married grandkids to have a child so I could be a great grandma but as long as Dump is in office and/or the USA is so full of hateful vengeful people I hope they dont have any kids because what kind of world will it b for them?
