Huh??

The guy in the photo is a  lunatic.

& right now, there’s a lot of lunacy in this country. And the lunatics in trump’s administration are at the heart of it.

Take  Paula White, a televangelist and leader of the White House Faith Office, who argues that women must “submit” to men.

Really? & what century do you hail from, Paula?

Then there’s Pete Hegseth, who tweeted:  “We should have installed tampon machines in every men’s bathroom at DoD instead — the leftist ‘news’ media would have loved that.”

He’s the guy involved in Signalgate, a former Fox News host and alcoholic who promised to stop drinking if he won the nomination for Secretary of Defense. He also installed a makeup studio in the Pentagon to the tune of several thousand bucks. Nothing like saving bucks, dude.

Or hey, what about Kristi Noem, Homeland Security Secretary? Well, back in 2024 during trump’s campaign, she bragged about shooting a puppy. Tough lady, right? Recently, she was celebrating Easter with her family at a restaurant and her handbag was stolen with $3,000 cash in it. Stolen in spite of her security detail. & why was she carrying so much cash?

And what about Marco Rubio? The former Florida senator is now secretary of state. He, like most of the Republican party, does trump’s bidding. In 2016, he was singing a much different tune, where he said that trump was “vulgar.” That adjective didn’t go far enough to describe how heinous this orange monster is, but it certainly shows how Rubio’s  attitude has changed. Now he’s sort of like a Fidel Castro clone, ironic since he is Cuban.

And these several are just for starters. Most of the people in trump’s cabinet are as morally corrupt as he is.

In the republican party he apparently owns, who has spoken out against snatching people off the street and disappearing them to detention centers and foreign prisons without any due process? How has an entire political party succumbed so completely? One friend claims that trump is charismatic to his followers.

Charisma? I don’t see it. He’s an overweight orange guy, 78 and incoherent much of the time,  an adult bully who makes everything he does another episode on reality TV.

Would  Carl Jung  consider trump the archetypal grifter and con man? Or the archetytpal blowhard who believes he has all the answers? Or both?

A friend told me that she’d read on X that Florida governor DeSantis, a mini-me version of trump but much younger,  planned on passing a law that any Floridian who spoke out against trump would be prosecuted. I haven’t found any reference to it on the Internet and I don’t go on X. But it wouldn’t surprise me.

His term – the governor’s -ends Jan 5, 2027. Not soon enough to  salvage what used to be a great state to live in. But I hope by then we will have seen the last of him. And I wish we had seen the last of trump and his sycophants already!
