Several times a year, Mercury – the planet that rules communication – turns retrograde, when it appears to be moving backward relative to earth. The next one starts on July 17th PT and July 18th in the Eastern time zone. It ends on August 11. In other words, this one lasts over three weeks.
During retros, communication tends to go haywire. It’s best not to sign any contracts, don’t move, make travel plans and don’t make long distance trips. Don’t have surgery either and follow the rule of the 3 Rs: revise, review, reconsider.
Since Mercury rules both Geminis & Virgos, they may feel these periods quite strongly. Find out where Leo falls in your chart. That will be the area most impacted.
