36 years ago tomorrow, August 31,, our daughter Megan Maya popped into the world.
Well, she didn’t exactly pop. I was in labor for 36 hours. But wow, at the end of it there she was, a little beauty with the bluest eyes I’d ever seen. We took her everywhere with us – Ecuador, Costa Rica, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Aruba…& she still loves to travel.
The above picture was taken in Cuba, where some of Meg’s friends also joined us for a terrific four or five days.She’s sitting between Rob and me. Here are more photos:
These days, she’s working as a naturalist on whale boat tours n the San Juan Islands, so we go to her and get to see these magnificent creatures.
