About a month ago, Paula Bruce told me that our mutual friend, Lynn, had had a great reading with a local psychic/medium, Vickie Burnett. Lynn’s sister had passed away some months ago and she wanted to know how she was doing.
So I got in touch with Vickie & booked a reading. We agreed to meet at Barnes & Noble. Her reading for my sister, Mary, who passed away in June 2023, was impressive. I showed Vickie a photo of my sister and she immediately had trouble breathing. That fit. When Mary was in ER, she was put on oxygen. I explained that Mary had a strep infection but that the doctors didn’t know its source and that she died within two days of sepsis.
“So what’s she doing on the other side?” I asked.
“She needed to recuperate and spends a lot of time alone. She has no regrets. Eighty percent of the time, she’s recuperating. The other twenty percent of the time she’s hovering around, like remote viewing from the other side. If you hear a rhythmic knocking, it’s her, saying hello.”
I have heard that rhythmic knocking from time to time but have always thought it was one of the cats getting into something. I told her about the hummingbird that, shortly after Mary’s death, flew right up to my face, so close I could see the color of its eyes, and that I felt certain it was Mary, checking in. Then, when Megan was rock climbing with a friend in Washington state, a hummingbird hovered just overhead. Vickie nodded. “Yes, that was your sister.”
Vickie and I sat and talked for another hour and I asked her to come on our podcast. Turns out, she also has a podcast, Weird & Everything. When Paula called to find out how the reading went, I told her about Vickie’s podcast. And here comes the synchronicity.
“What?” she exclaimed. “I’ve listened to that podcast for years! I didn’t realize the Vickie on that show is also Vickie the psychic! She investigates haunted houses…”
It’s an interesting synchro that illustrates how we are all connected.
So Vickie will be on our podcast on September 10. The clip at the top is from one of Vickie’s podcasts.

What a great synchro
