Before the election, I heard various reasons from people I know for why they were voting for trump: the economy, the situation at the border, he’ll lower the cost of living, he’s tough, he’ll get rid of waste…
And now that we’re about a year into his disastrous presidency, it’s obvious that NONE of what trump promised his diehard followers has been delivered. First, trump brought the tariffs and ICE, which certainly appears to be fashioned after Hitler’s SS. And the cost of living has soared. People are losing their health care coverage. And trump isn’t tough, that’s laughable. He’s the archetype of the playground bully from middle school. But worse.
He invaded Venezuela and abducted Maduro, their dictator. Glad Maduro is gone. But the rest of the regime is still there, stifling dissent and sending out their military to disappear people. And now he’s declaring himself acting president of Venezuela. Huh? He can’t even govern this country. He’s like the cry baby in the photo, trying to get even with anyone who criticized him.
What’s really baffling to me is his support from people who call themselves Christians. Why would anyone, much less a Christian, support a convicted felon? One of pedophile Epstein’s buddies? Trump doesn’t give a shit about Christianity. He has said he’s worried about what will happen to him when he dies. But hey dude, it’s probably a little late to worry about your soul since you seem to have been soulless for most of your life.
And all of this makes me wonder if this orange monster is our karma for slavery, the internment of the Japanese, the invasion of sovereign countries…well, the list of this country’s horrors is long and deeply tragic. So are Americans waking up to what’s going on?
Perhaps. Recent protests- which Rachel Maddow has covered – provide hope.
The murder of Renee Nicole Good may be the trigger. Mom of three, U.S. citizen. But trump and his sycophants lied, of course about the events. They called her a domestic terrorist and claim she tried to run over the ICE agent who shot her and acted in self-defense.They want you to believe what they say and dismiss what you saw on the videos.
That’s how fascist regimes and dictatorships work. Don’t believe your own eyes.
So we the people have a clear choice: do we believe the lies of a pathological liar? Or do we believe what we see with our own eyes and get out there and protest this regime and demand trump’s impeachment or that he be removed through the 25th amendment?

It’s getting worse in my opinion. Dump is after Greenland for no real reason except to destroy NATO which he has been trying to do for a long time. Putin will love that and is probably directing him.
But perhaps greenland is just another distraction? I don’t know. Everything this monster does is so chaotic that every day it’s another horror show.
I don’t think Greenland is a distraction, but the reason. Other powerful Countries such as Russia, Canada and China are making enormous investments in the far North:
Russia accounts for roughly 50-60% of total Arctic investments including an increase of military presence (roughly $82 billion US as of 2018); Canada has significantly increased its Arctic spending, with a focus on “dual-use” (civilian and defense) infrastructure, with over C$2.5 billion being invested in new Arctic infrastructure hubs, committing $81 billion over 20 years to Arctic security, including a new $2.67 billion initiative for Northern Operational Support Hubs; China is heavily involved, particularly in partnership with Russia, Chinese state-owned enterprises have invested heavily in Russian Arctic natural gas and mining projects, in developing Arctic ship-to-rail transit infrastructure and is building specialized “Arc7” ice-strengthened vessels, operating research stations and investing in space infrastructure and subsea cables to support its strategic presence.
So as to why— Greenland is still relatively inaccessible unless you are of the power elite, and so making it a safe haven bunker for the powerful elite minority, should all hell break loose from the masses resulting from a natural disaster of unprecedented scale, such as a more sudden ocean level rise coupled with coastal areas sinking (both as a result of isostatic adjustment). Consider the following statistics concerning vulnerable US coastal areas, gathered by The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA): 40% of the population, 10% of the land mass, $10 trillion in goods and services annually, $54.6 million employed, $4 trillion in wages annually.
We— as in those of us living in Coastal communities who are most vulnerable, need to become aware as to the real situation and present danger and then think-tank how to survive such a major catastrophe. I’ve provided more research info in my blog, that you can freely access.
Thanks, May. I’ll take a look!
