The producer of our podcast, Jon Posey, sent this today. He called it the podcast bible, but that’s a bit too religious for me. I think of it as the Podcast Big Picture.
The Mystical Underground: Podcast Bible
- The Creators: Hosts and Producer Trish and Rob MacGregor (Hosts): The MacGregors are veteran authors of more than 100 novels and non-fiction books, and both are Edgar Allan Poe Award winners for mystery writing. They met in 1981 while Rob was working as a newspaper reporter covering the Mariel boatlift and education in Broward County, Florida, and Trish was teaching English as a second language to Cuban refugees. Their connection was instantaneous; Trish even told her roommate she had just met the man she was going to marry. They quit their jobs with $5,000 saved, got married in 1983, and launched successful freelance writing careers. Together, they have explored the paranormal for decades, authoring titles like Phenomena: Harnessing Your Psychic Powers, The Secrets of Spirit Communication, Aliens in the Backyard, The Shift: Reports from the Mystical Underground, and Mind-Blowing Synchronicities. Trish, an astrologer who grew up in Venezuela, is also the author of the novels White Crows and Skin Shifters, while Rob penned the novel Tulpas and six original Indiana Jones novels, including The Staff of Kings.
Jon Posey (Producer/Tech Magician): Affectionately known as the “disembodied voice,” Jon is the podcast’s producer, tech guru, and frequent musical-reference provider. The origin of The Mystical Underground podcast is directly tied to a synchronistic interaction between Jon and Trish. Jon, a musician from Muscle Shoals, Alabama, reached out to the MacGregors on Instagram to ask why Rob’s Indiana Jones books weren’t available electronically. During their correspondence, Jon suggested they start a podcast. The MacGregors had been wanting to do one but lacked the technical know-how, which Jon, having produced previous podcasts, was able to provide.
- Channel History & Timeline The Mystical Underground began as an evolution of the MacGregors’ long-running blog, Synchro Secrets. The channel was created to be a space where the “weird and wonderful flourish” and where mainstream materialistic science takes a back seat to the idea that humans are spiritual beings experiencing a physical reality.
- The Foundation (Episodes 001 & 002): The podcast launched with host-only episodes setting the theoretical groundwork. Synchronicity I (Episode 001) introduced Carl Jung’s concept of meaningful coincidences and the “7 Secrets of Synchronicity” (The Knowing, The Heart, The Theory, The Creative, The Clusters, The Trickster, and The Global). Phenomenon I (Episode 002) detailed personal paranormal experiences, including an explosive burst of light the MacGregors experienced when emailing Whitley Strieber about his wife’s passing.
- Host-Driven Deep Dives: The hosts frequently dedicate episodes to deep lore, such as their exploration of Time Travel, where they discussed a mind-bending 1964 case of two Americans in Bermuda who seemingly time-traveled to the era of the deadly Hurricane Sixto of 1780.
- Star Power Astrology (Monthly Feature): Trish hosts a recurring segment called Star Power, providing monthly astrological forecasts. The segment began tracking major transits in early 2020 (like the first Mercury Retrograde of that year) and continues charting global shifts, such as Pluto’s defining transit into Aquarius, Uranus entering Gemini (sparking technological/paranormal leaps), and the socio-political transitions anticipated through 2025 and 2026.
The Interview Era: The podcast rapidly expanded into a global hub, bringing on world-renowned channelers, physicists, UFOlogists, and healers to discuss the ongoing paradigm shift in human consciousness.
III. Episode & Guest Encyclopedia
Extraterrestrial Contact & UAP Phenomena
- Preston Dennett & Dolly Safran: Preston, a prolific UFO investigator with over 30 books (Humanoids and High Strangeness, Symmetry, Not From Here), partnered with Dolly Safran, a fully conscious lifelong ET contactee. Dolly claims she is a human-alien hybrid who retains total recall of her experiences aboard light ships since age two. She interacts with Grays and other entities, asserting they are benevolent guides warning humanity about an impending coronal mass ejection that could devastate Earth’s electronics.
- Keith Thompson: An independent journalist and author of The UFO Paradox. He emphasizes the concept of “toxic skepticism” within mainstream science and argues that the UFO phenomenon bridges the physical and psychic realms, acting as an archetype that bypasses authority figures to directly impact individuals.
- Whitley Strieber: The legendary author of Communion and The Fourth Mind. He details shocking anatomical revelations about the “visitors,” their terrifying tempers when ignored, and instances of intense government surveillance and interference in the UFO community.
- Jerome Martin: A former construction worker who became a metaphysical instructor. He utilizes biofeedback technology to monitor human brainwaves and EMF fields while guiding volunteers onto “trans-dimensional light ships” where ETs perform real-time physical healings.
- Kenneth Hopkins, Joe Killian, & Melissa Fordham: Hopkins (Earth Transformation) is a lifelong abductee who interacts with Pleiadians and Grays from the future. Joe Killian experienced an alien encounter in 2019 that turned his life upside down, a story brought to the podcast by his cousin, Melissa.
- Alexis Brooks: Broadcast journalist and host of Higher Journeys. She postulates the theory of “unconscious contact”—that UFO encounters are a ubiquitous phenomenon often masked by childhood trauma or screen memories, heavily impacting multiple generations of families.
- Jeff Aronson: Former Pentagon/White House employee and author of The Stellars. He wrote a novel exploring a scenario where benevolent extraterrestrials settle on Earth, potentially solving resource scarcity but threatening the billionaire elite who control global wealth.
Synchronicity, Astrology & The Quantum Mind
- Philip Merry: A global leadership consultant with a PhD in Synchronicity. Author of The 9 Keys of Synchronicity, Merry advocates for combining logic (“the head”) with intuition (“the heart”) to achieve “heart-brain coherence.” He teaches corporate executives to view synchronicities as “quantum GPS nudges” providing solutions to everyday problems.
- Jude Currivan: Cosmologist, physicist, and co-founder of Whole World View. Author of The Cosmic Hologram and The Story of Gaia, Dr. Currivan argues against the “Big Bang,” calling it the “Big Breath”—an exquisitely ordered, non-random expansion. She views Gaia (Earth) as a highly conscious entity guiding mutations and evolutionary impulses, urging humanity to shift from a worldview of separation to one of unitive wholeness.
- Graham Phillips: Historical investigator and author of The Original Zodiac. He utilized AI and historical texts to reconstruct an 18-sign zodiac originating from Babylon, matching distinct personality traits to symbols like the Spider, Swan, and Vulture.
- Vish Chatterji: Executive coach and author of The Business Casual Yogi. He blends engineering with Vedic (Sidereal) astrology and Ayurveda, explaining how karmic planetary alignments (like Ketu representing psychic intuition) map a person’s life, and how yogic practices can transcend chart energies.
- Douglas Grunther: Woodstock Roundtable host and author of The Quantum and the Dream. He explores the intersections of human, computer, and natural intelligence, leaning heavily on the collaborative works of Carl Jung and physicist Wolfgang Pauli, who sought to bridge quantum theory with the depths of the psyche.
- Aeon Karris: Transformational facilitator and author of Synchronicity: Unlock Your Divine Destiny. She discusses “monads” (soul groups of 144) and warns against predatory dark matter entities that feed off human fear.
Spiritual Healing, Mediumship & The Afterlife
- Ken Lloyd: A psychic healer and “soul fusion walk-in.” He integrated his higher self and 13 soul aspects to deliver powerful cellular-level healings, relying entirely on the guidance of his interdimensional team.
- Mirabai Devi: A spiritual teacher from South Africa and conduit for the Divine Mother. She experienced Cosmic Consciousness at age 22, realizing ultimate oneness, and now travels the world performing Light Transmissions to heal humanity’s mass heartbreak and trauma.
- Mark Anthony: “The Psychic Lawyer,” an Oxford-educated attorney and fourth-generation medium. Author of The Afterlife Frequency, he merges legal evidence-gathering with evidential mediumship, explaining “spiritual synchronicities” as frequency beacons used by spirits to communicate.
- Salicrow: A psychic medium and “Witch of the Northeast Kingdom” with Irish Traveler heritage. Author of Spirit Speaker, she views mediumship through the path of the healer, jumping into the deep end of the spirit world to help others navigate grief and elemental magic.
- Matthew McKay: A clinical psychologist and author of Seeking Jordan and Lessons from the Afterlife. After the tragic murder of his son, Jordan, McKay began channeling him to learn that the purpose of physical existence is for individual souls to learn how to love in the face of pain.
- Jim Willis: Theologian and author of Near-Death Experiences. He explores how NDEs cross cultural decades and outlines the absolute necessity of approaching the spirit world (and dowsing) with a protective prayer, such as the mantra “Shields up, mirrors out”.
- Jerry Sargeant: Founder of Star Magic Healing. Nicknamed “The Facilitator,” his spiritual awakening began after a severe car crash in Romania. He claims to have physically traveled to Alpha Centauri and works to dismantle “shadow parasites” operating through earthly trauma.
- Jill Jackson: The “Mississippi Medium” who left a lucrative CPA career in LA after illnesses prompted her to embrace her psychic gifts. She channels telepathic messages from deceased pets and guides clients through 5D manifestation by clearing subconscious shadow trauma.
- Susan Browne: A well-being coach and author of Angel EFT. She teaches practical ways to raise vibrations and call upon angelic guides—viewing them as spiritual mentors and bouncers against low-frequency energies.
Paranormal, Occult & Shamanic Explorations
- Loyd Auerbach: A world-renowned parapsychologist and professional mentalist. Directing the Office of Paranormal Investigations since 1989, he applies “situational skepticism” to separate genuine phenomena (like telekinesis and apparitions) from normal occurrences, fighting back against the “pseudo-skeptics” who dogmatically deny evidence.
- Kat Hobson: Host of Paranormal Experience Radio and former PI. She advocates for treating paranormal investigating not just as “ghost hunting,” but as documenting a wide range of fringe phenomena. She utilizes highly advanced spirit portals to capture real-time intelligent EVPs.
- Vickie Burnett: Psychic medium and host of Weird and Whatever. Running the POINT Paranormal team, she visually and auditorily interacts with spirits during investigations to provide families with genuine solutions or help entities move on.
- D. Newman: Expert in alchemy and author of Tripping the Trail of Ghosts. He investigates the psychedelic secret history of Freemasonry and traces the lost spiritual practices of Native American Mississippian mound cultures.
- Julia Gordon-Bramer: Tarot card reader and Sylvia Plath scholar. Author of Tarot Life Lessons and The Occult Sylvia Plath, she decodes Plath’s poetry through a mystical lens, revealing how the poet heavily utilized Ouija boards, tarot, and astrology to structure her work.
- Carol Day: A Scottish psychotherapist and author of Shamanic Dreaming. She established the “Dragon Theater” after a vision quest, creating immersive mythological play to help adults and children channel archetypal forces and connect with Earth’s dragon (ley) lines.
- Charlie Hall: Paranormal researcher and brand ambassador for Haunted Magazine. Raised by a Druid father, she leverages her mediumship for paranormal TV shows and asserts that ghosts might not be dead people, but residual quantum energetic field connections.
Consciousness, Futurology & Deep Psychology
- Marcus Anthony: Futurist professor and author of Power and Presence. He coined the concept of “Digital Wisdom,” warning against “algorithmic possession” where surveillance capitalism traps humans in echo chambers, pulling them away from their authentic, embodied spiritual selves.
- Alex Marcoux: Visionary fiction author of Destination New Earth and Gods in the Game. She collaborates with “pure autists” (like a non-verbal man named Daniel) who exist as higher-dimensional avatars on Earth, utilizing facilitated communication and psychic channeling to guide humanity’s ascension.
- Polina Rud: Art historian and author of The Cosmic Game of Snakes and Arrows. She utilizes ancient Hindu board games and Nordic runes as oracle tools, creating a psychological “rehearsal space” for people to navigate shadow work, trauma, and compassion.
- Norma & Nisha Burton: A mother-daughter duo. Norma uses indigenous shamanic traditions for shadow work, while Nisha (a filmmaker) is a master of lucid dreaming. They teach clients to achieve “agency” within the dream state, preparing the psyche for safe out-of-body navigation.
- Sarah McCrum: Money consciousness coach and author of Love Money, Money Loves You. She teaches that money is a beautiful, abundant energy, challenging the religious conditioning that associates wealth with evil, and advocating for an economy that supports the well-being of humans and nature.
- Alexa Blye: Family therapist and author of The Good Sister and Her Flying Monkeys. She dissects the mechanics of gaslighting in narcissistic families, emphasizing the psychological damage caused when a manipulator intentionally distorts someone’s reality.
- Scott Guerin: Psychology professor and author of Awkward Awakenings. He examines society’s shift from organized religion to spirituality, channeling Pleiadian messages regarding the impending “spring” of humanity as Earth exits a dark, corrupt karmic cycle (the Kali Yuga).

You should send this to Elija Wood’s (AKA Frodo from the ‘Lord of the Rings’ films) company ‘SpectreVision’, as he has been rounding up woo-woo podcasts for his platform, like Mike Clelland’s ‘Hidden Experience’ podcast.
I don’t know how it all works, as it doesn’t seem to be an exclusive deal, as I listen to Mike’s podcast through Apple Podcasts on my iPad.
You’d have to ask Mike how it all works, if you are interested in putting your podcast show through ‘SpectreVision’.
