Fargo

Meet Fargo! Two months old, a rescue from Adopt a Pet.  We adopted him on Saturday, under the influence of the solar eclipse in Leo on the 12th. He’s a sweetie, but a puppy! And puppies are energetic…he is accustomed to playing with his five brothers and with them not around, he figures our four cats are his brothers.

Binx, Megan’s black cat, stands up to him. The other 3 hide out until Fargo is snoozing.

He can’t go to the regular dog park until he is 4 months and has had his rabies shots. So we’ve been taking him to our neighborhood park where he wears himself out.

Today at our park, he wore himself out with Abby, our friend Lloyd’s dog. Wore himself out because he kept trying to get her attention to play with him. Steps in bowl of water as if to say, Hey, hey, right here!

We just mailed off his DNA test, so we don’t know yet what all he is.  But he’s sweet and non- aggressive with others dogs and just wants to play. Yesterday I took him over to a friend’s house to meet her two dogs in her yard. Ah, c’mon, Diva. Play with me!

He seems to like his little home in the crate, door open, his bed inside.

Welcome to our crazy household, Fargo! And he does have some of Nigel’s traits – the gentleness, the way he prefers snoozing during the day under Rob’s desk or next to it, and how that tail wags for everyone.
