It’s tragic for us – this country, the world- when someone like Parton passes on.
She was emblematic of more than music. In spite of her fame, she always came across as a genuine human being, someone you’d love to sit down with over coffee or a drink and just listen to her talk or, even better, have a conversation with her.
And what an interesting synchronicity that meteorologists are talking about how the next named hurricane will be Dolly. Not the kind of synchro I want to hear!
