Ghost Plane: What Happened to Flight 370?

The disappearance of the Malaysian Boeing  777, flight 370,  on March 7-8 has triggered investigations and searches by several countries. Even now, no one knows for sure what happened.

No debris has been found. The oil slicks that were mentioned initially weren’t from airplane fuel. What was thought to be a cargo door or life raft turned out to be debris. The weather was good, the plane was at cruising altitude of 35,000 feet. So what happened?

The flight took off from Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, at 12:41 a.m. on Saturday, March 8 (afternoon of March 7, ET). It was scheduled to arrive in Bejing, China at 6:30 a.m. the same day, a journey of 2,300 miles – a distance  comparable to a flight between Miami and L.A. But around 1:30 a.m., as the plane was crossing the sea between Malaysia and Vietnam, air traffic controllers in Subang, outside of Kaula Lumpur, lost contact with it.

The pilots didn’t indicate that any problem existed, no distress signal was issued, but Malaysia officials say there’s radar evidence that the plane may have changed course and turned back toward Kuala Lumpur. The plane had 239 people on board – 227 passengers and 12 crew members.  Five of the passengers were children under the age of five. More than a dozen nationalities were represented among the passengers.

Speculation abounds and the picture became murkier when it was learned that two passengers were flying on stolen passports. An Italian and an Austrian man reported their passports stolen in 2012 and 2013, in Thailand. The tickets related to these stolen passports were bought together, by an Iranian man who said his two friends wanted to return to Europe- from Kuala Lumpur to Bejing and Amsterdam and to Copenhagen.

Similarities have been drawn between the disappearance of this flight and Air France flight 447 from Rio to Paris that vanished in 2009. The similarities:

     –   Three days into the search, the plane is still missing. The Air France plane was found almost two years after its disappearance. A week after its crash, a few pieces of the tail were recovered.

       – Both planes were at cruising altitude, above the sea

       – 12 crew members for both flights.  With crew, the Malaysia flight had 239 passengers, the Air France flight had 228.

       – Safety records. The Boeing 777 and the Air France Airbus 330 have terrific safety records.

       – No Mayday signal

       – Both jets had sustained minor damage on the ground and were repaired. In the Air France flight, no correlation was established with the earlier damage.

Theories range from bombs to hijacking to pilot suicide to a catastrophic technical failure.   Conspiracy websites are having a field day with this one.

But, you have to wonder. No debris, no Mayday signal, nothing from emergency transponders, which start signaling on impact with water or land.

I’ve been searching for a synchronicity in this story – and there probably are several – that might point the way to the truth. Other than the parallels to the crash of the Air France flight in 2009, which also had some major differences, like with weather, I haven’t found any. Has anyone else spotted synchros in any of this?

    so glad to see this comprehensive post on the plane – i’ve been fascinated with the numbers thing of it too – the flight number 370 = 10 = 1 – souls on board 239 = 14 = 5 – the date 03082014 = 9 and the plane 777 = 21 = 3 [and any separate significance for triple 7] etc –

in looking at the significance of these numbers by googling earlier, i came across an interesting blog post which i link here: https://copycateffect.blogspot.com/2014/03/Flight-370.html

haven’t read the entire post yet as it is lengthy but looked intriguing –

and of course, from my own personal perspective, there was the issue of this terrible fear i had of my daughter flying from that very airport in malaysia literally just hours before this disappearance –

like others here i had the ear ringing thing for several days but had attributed it to earthquakes – and usually, with plane disasters, those events come to me in vivid dreams – but this one did not – i related my ill feelings about the flight to my daughter –

Our friend, the mysterious Peter Levenda, had this to say via e-mail about Flight 370.

“I used to take that flight once a month or so when I lived in KL and had an office in Beijing. Flew on the 777 a lot (in fact was on the first Malaysian Airlines 777 flight). So I am following it closely, as you can imagine. Foul play is the most obvious conclusion since the transponders did not both go off at once, and as the system kept pinging a satellite long after the transponders were offline. If it was a hijacking someone would have claimed responsibility by now. Pilot suicide seems one possibility.

I had the ear ringings, clickings, etc.for several days before the incident. At first I assumed it was quakes, like momwithwings.

For me, the empathetic tuning in is all the more complicated because my daughter was afraid that the plane for her honeymoon trip would go down. She had anxiety about the 3/10 trip and talked to me about it on 3/7 before flight 370 disappeared. (I didn’t feel that her plane was going to crash, but I was uneasy about something I couldn’t put my fingers on.) On 3/9, my daughter and her husband’s beloved pet dog, Marley, died without warning while returning a ball thrown at her on the beach here in San Diego. She was very healthy, 7 years old, and a shepherd/chow mix. She was also entirely black. Within minutes of learning of her death,I did the Buddhist prayers my daughter requested me to do. During the visualization, I saw Marley with a huge crowd of people. She was accompanying them to the otherworld. It appeared there were a few hundred people. Then I knew for certain that Desiree’s plane wasn’t the one she was having anxiety about. Marley and the flight 370 persons were crossing the same bridge. (In Egypt, the psychopomp is the black dog Anubis.)
My daughter and her husband left for their honeymoon, tearfully, on 3/10.

I know it’s a subjective story with no direct connection to the big story (that we know of yet), but I am empathetic & Buddhist, and my daughter has also had many psychic experiences herself. Here, things were all entangled.
    There’s more strangeness to come.

    • Rob and Trish says:

It may have a direct bearing, Debra. Where was your daughter headed? The dates are interesting: 3/7 (flight 370). The whole story becomes ever more complex every time I look for news about it. Thanks for commenting about this.

Boston, then on to NY City–Central Park area.

        • Rob and Trish says:

What’s the location for the new strangeness? Any inkling?

          • D, Page says:

More strangeness regarding this plane. The People/companies on it, the countries involved.

            Also, quakes, volcanoes, weather.

Cultural structures are unstable all over the globe. People are too.

A tipping point has been reached.
All of this is obvious, I know.
I wish I could be more specific. I have been blocked from seeing past an image of a broken glass shield that is surrounded by complete darkness.

  3. Momwithwings says:

For about a week I’ve had terrible clicking in my left ear, which usually signifies large earthquakes . Just now after reading this I realized that over the past few days there have been significant quakes in CA, Alaska and farther south. All along the Ring Of Fire.
I wonder if there could be a connection in some way?
Also, I believe that the area, near where this plane disappeared from ,is called The Devils Triangle, very similar stories of occurrences that happen in the Bermuda Triangle.
This morning I awoke with really loud roaring noise in my ears and my Fibro is acting up badly. Again don’t know if there is a connection.
Just got an alert of a 5.9 earthquake in Papau New Guinea.
    This is very very strange.

  4. Still no real news, other than a story how the pilot often invited people into the cockpit even though against regulations. Haven’t seen any obvious synchros. The relatives of the passengers must be going frantic with worry.

  5. I’ve been wondering if any of the psychics in the Rob and Trish drawer have any clue about this event. So creepily weird.

  6. Sheila Joshi says:

I was wondering if you guys were going to cover this. My *very* first thought was alien abduction, because I have been influenced by reading this blog! I also wondered if there’s another “Bermuda Triangle” there — is there a history of incidents in the area?

The synchros I’ve noticed are –

    — the knife attack in the Chinese train station – close in time, involves China

    — the recent near miss of a test missile, as Darren mentions – close in time, same corner of the world

    — I never watched the TV series Lost, but I can see this has a lot of parallels with it, so it may be a case of precognition on the part of the TV show creators, like those novels about the sinking of the Titanic written before the sinking.

    — I know this is a stretch, but it occurs over water, in the same corner of the world as the 2004 tsunami.

  7. DJan says:

It has caused me to wonder all the same things you are, Trish. What could have happened to that plane? I feel for all the relatives who are mourning and have absolutely nothing to go on. All those people just… gone. But where? How? It’s very puzzling and I’m watching for synchronicities too.

  8. Darren B says:

Surely not a bulls-eye this time round ?
“Rogue state carries out test firing into path of packed Chinese passenger plane”.

  9. Dale Dassel says:

    >>Boeing 777, flight 370, on March 7-8

Well, there’s a lot of 7’s just for starters.

  10. Nancy says:

This has been bugging me since it happened. Ugh, flying across the ocean always leaves me anxious, which I have to do next week. I always try to fly during daylight hours – I can’t think of anything worse than plunging into the sea in darkness. (Not like daylight is going to change anything – but darkness just feels even more creepy.) I guess it’s too late to hope for a happy ending, huh? This is a weird one.

    • Rob and Trish says:

Yeah, it’s bugged me, too. A friend once said that she tries to maintain a positive attitude on every flight she takes, just in case…She wants to move into the afterlife on a positive note. Buj if the plane disintegrated at 35,000 feet, how much time do you have to be positive?
