In global events, the synchronicities are often so glaring that even journalists note the “coincidence.”
On August 25, John McCain’s family announced that the 81-year-old senator died at 4:28 p.m., of glioblastoma, a rare form of brain cancer. When I heard about his death, I mentioned to Rob that Ted Kennedy probably greeted him on the other side because they’d been friends and had died of the same type of cancer. What I didn’t know – and that was announced a few minutes later – was that Kennedy died 9 years ago on this same day, August 25, 2009.
After a journalist mentioned the coincidence, Rob asked me why I’d made that remark about McCain and Kennedy. I don’t know why. It was just something that popped into my head.
So, what are the odds on this one? Two senators, of different political parties, died 9 years apart to the day from the same type of brain cancer. Even though McCain, a former POW in Vietnam, was a war hawk who voted for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, I respected for his thumbs down last summer, at 1 a.m., to save Obama Care.
RIP, McCain. I hope you and Kennedy are commiserating already on how to get trump out of office.

Incredible how yesterday all Dems and Republicans —all Americans—came together to honor John McCain. All, but one. Donald Trump. In the morning, he sat stoic refusing to comment on McCain when he was asked over and over to say something. He spent most of the day refusing to lower the White House flag, even while Pence and his chief of staff repeatedly asked him to do so. The reason no doubt is the great disparity between the two men—McCain a man who was known as a maverick in part because he would actually work with the Democrats and in the end he stood up to a president he saw as a man lacking morals, who only thought about himself. Trump, on the other hand, is a maverick of sorts as well, but one lacking a moral compass , a cyber-bully who daily attacks down on regular Americans as well as both Dems and Republicans in Congress. He has a hard time getting out of his own way. He finally backed down late yesterday and read a brief prepared statement honoring McCain. But it was too late. The damage was done.
I took my Dad’s autopsy from his file I’ve kept here in my home yesterday, because I wanted to be certain I was remembering correctly. According to his extensive post report, Dad had brain surgery on August 25, 1958, at Pasadena Methodist Hospital. We had been told the malignancy was inoperable. They performed the surgery to remove a large portion of the bone to relieve the pressure as the GBM grew and then they simply sutured the scalp skin over the surgery site. Regarding August 25, which occurs with such frequency in GBM…..I have found at least two patients who have something very much in common: my Dad, and Anne Streiber. The connection between them is relative to their encounters with ETs, aliens, and UFOs. Of highly compelling interest to me is that August 25 is 825, which is the frequency of 15/6, and 15/6 is the number frequency of pretty much EVERYTHING relative to UFOs, aliens, encounters, etc. I can’t disregard this, as it may hint to a common denominator. Another weird fact is that the actress Susan Hayward played the starring role in the remake of the earlier, original movie with Bette Davis, entitled DARK VICTORY. The movie storyline surrounded the role played by Hayward: a woman dying with a GBM. Not too long after making that movie, Susan Hayward died from a GBM. A truth stranger than fiction, perhaps……..
There are several instances of actors playing parts like that – christopher reeves, for instance.
Terrence McKenna also died of GBM, another visionary.
Interesting about your dad’s surgery date – 8/25. What’s with that, anyway?
This is just a smaller personal synchro but it IS a synchro. I have been on a Truman Capote reading binge – reading both his biography, letters, interviews – all at once, back and forth. I was reading on the 25th that he died on August 25th, 1984. And this rash of synchros about that date and McCain and the others who died then. Just felt weird to me to will report.

As mentioned more than once on the blog, my 42-year-old Dad, a vigorous, healthy, magnificently spiritual cattleman, transitioned from glioblastoma multiforme when I was only 18. Anne, Whitley’s wife did, as well, much more recently, and Whitley reports that she stays in close contact with him from her alternate dimension. As a life-long RN and a life-long spiritual seeker, I find myself wondering what the common denominator is among these patients who experience GBM. It’s an uncommon malignancy, unlike many malignancies such as lung cancer, etc., and to date, no cure has been found for GBM. There IS a connection. I sense it, I feel it, I KNOW it, and am striving to find that common denominator. It’s a vicious monster…..in my mind, cancer is a living entity….and the fact that GBM ONLY originates in the brain is compelling. I will continue to dig, striving to perhaps stumble upon answers to my questions about it. In any event, regardless of politics, I send condolences and empathy to John McCain’s loved ones.
Nancy Atkinson’s husband died of it, so did Joe Biden’s son, and so did Elizabeth Targ and Terrence McKenna, as Sheila had mentioned.

Another political person was Beau Biden. Also, in psi circles, I see Terence McKenna died of it, and Elizabeth Targ remarkably developed it and died from it *after* having already started psi research on it.
Trish, I don’t know how it works — is there any generalization you can make astrologically about August 25th?
There was a grand earth trine, exact to the degree. The sun, Uranus, and Saturn were all at 2 degrees of earth signs. I suspect that trines facilitate the passage into death.

Well, I honor John McCain for — as he said himself — dedicating himself to defending our country….unlike some people. I have been worried for awhile about him crossing when he is such a good soldier against all that DT stands for. But, perhaps he will be able to help the country even more from the other side. It would certainly be in line with his values to do so.

But the creepy thing about that post was the knight’s armour and LANCE I saw in a bookshop last Thursday night on the way back from a book talk in another bookstore on that same street.
My team (and the new Prime-minster of Australia’s team) the Sharks were playing the Newcastle Knights this weekend, so I stopped and took a photo of it thinking it was some kind of omen about the game.
The next day I see the sad news of the passing of ex-Sharks player Lance Thomson, who had died around the time I saw that knight in the window.
The weird thing is that next weekend the Knights are playing the St.George Dragons who were the club Lance played for before coming to the Sharks.
The Dragons logo is a knight on a horse slaying a dragon with a lance, oddly enough.
Interesting series of synchros, Daz! The one about Lance feels precognitive to me.
Either that or just a massive coincidence … or series of them.

Another synchro with this pair was the fact that Ted Kennedy, while fighting GBM, made it to the floor to vote in favor of Obamacare, John McCain, fighting the same disease, returned to the Senate floor to vote against abolishing it.
