Edgar Cayce made numerous predictions about the earth changes that we now see beginning to unfold. The sleeping prophet, as was known for conducting his readings while lying on a couch in a sleep-like state, was both right and wrong on the earth changes. He was wrong about the timing. He said these changes would be coming in the later half of the 20th century. Now with global warming making bigger and bigger impacts on the world, it seems Cayce was on the right track, but the earth change ‘train’ was delayed.
Here’s one of his readings on the subject. We can be glad we missed out on this one…at least for the time being.
“As to the changes physical again: The earth will be broken up in the western portion of America. The greater portion of Japan must go into the sea. The upper portion of Europe will be changed as in the twinkling of an eye. Land will appear off the east coast of America. There will be the upheavals in the Arctic and in the Antarctic that will make for the eruption of volcanoes in the torrid areas, and there will be the shifting then of the poles–so that where there has been those of a frigid or the semi-tropical will become the more tropical, and moss and fern will grow. And these will begin in those periods in ’58 to ’98, when these will be proclaimed as the periods when His light will be seen again in the clouds. As to times, as to seasons, as to places, ALONE is it given to those who have named the Name–and who bear the mark of those of His calling and His election in their bodies. To them it shall be given.”
So far we’ve avoided most of that, but who knows what’s coming. It could be that a prophetic dream Cayce had in 1936, nine years before his death, provides a glimpse of what life may be like at the end of this century. The dream is right in line with many of the predictions Cayce made about earth changes, and it supposedly foretells Cayce’s next life.
“I had been born again in 2100 A.D. in Nebraska. The sea apparently covered all of the western part of the country, as the city where I lived was on the coast. The family name was a strange one. At an early age as a child I declared myself to be Edgar Cayce who had lived 200 years before. Scientists, men with long beards, little hair, and thick glasses, were called in to observe me. They decided to visit the places where I said I had been born, lived, and worked in Kentucky, Alabama, New York, Michigan, and Virginia.
“Taking me with them the group of scientists visited these places in a long, cigar-shaped metal flying ship which moved at a high speed. Water covered part of Alabama. Norfolk, Virginia, had become an immense seaport. New York had been destroyed either by war or an immense earthquake and was being rebuilt. Industries were scattered over the countryside. Most of the houses were built of glass. Many records of my work as Edgar Cayce were discovered and collected. The group returned to Nebraska, taking the records with them to study…”
Dreams are these are probably part of the reason that so many novel and movies feature dystopian themes.
The idea that humanity could affect the planet itself was unimaginable in Cayce’s time. But predictions of areas of the coasts being submerged, of the arctic and antarctic impacted, and the submersion of island nations, including the Japanese islands, is happening now. It is very unlikely that there will be a Miami, or a New York City, or a Los Angeles in 100 years because of sea rise.
It may not be in a 100 years. It may be a lot earlier.
Magnetic north is shifting fast. I felt a pretty good shake they other night and went online to see it was a 3.7 just up the hill from me. I wouldn’t discount this reading, just may have to adjust the dates..
I’ve been reading about that shift to the north. Just the dates are off. I think Cayce was right on with the rest of it.
Cayce was amazing! I’ve read several of his books, with particular interest on his Atlantis prophecies. Back in 1999, I was fully convinced that we would see California crumble into the Pacific, and that they would uncover the ancient Hall of Records beneath the Great Sphinx, in Egypt. When those events didn’t materialize, I was disappointed, but no less respectful of Cayce’s premonitions. Maybe his Atlantis rising prediction will come to pass in our lifetime!
I think he was just off on his dates!
They have found a chamber , I believe it’s under a paw, in the ancient Sphinx. Now they have to get permission to explore it.
