So here we go, a new moon in Virgo on August 30, at 6:37 am EDT. I love new moons. Even when they have challenging aspects generally or to my natal chart, their fundamental message is the same. New Moons represent a time of renewal and newness – new doors open, new the people enter our lives, new opportunities present themselves and, usually, synchronicities proliferate.
As an archetype, Virgo is the perfectionist, the discerner, master of details, whose mind works at the speed of light, connecting this detail with that detail to create a larger picture. Virgo tends to be very left-brain – rational, reasonable – but there’s often a deep intuition that pushes up against that left brain, whispering, Hey, forget the brain, how’s it feel?
