I thought this was a new interview at first and started to listen to it on my iPad when it dropped onto my Apple Podcast list, as I listened to the free part of Whitley’s Dreamland interview with Grant Cameron on Saturday when that hit the my Apple Podcast playlist.
I like what Grant had to say about life and beyond in that free part of the Draemland interview, but Whitley always frustrates me when he tries to tell us Earthlings just what he thinks the elephant in the room is.
I don’t doubt that he has had some kind of “visitor” experience, but he reminds me of the Mr. Magoo of the UAP world when he tries to convey just what he “saw” back in the 80s.
And as much as I like Whitley and feel sorry for him with the way his life derailed after ‘Communion’ came out, maybe he should stop trying so hard on an egoic storytelling level and really get in-touch with his Higher Self on a more Jungian type level?
These UFO guys like Greer, Strieber, Cameron … and even Mike Clelland, act like they are the chosen ones sent to convey to us all a special message through their experience and “synchronicities” (which people like Mike think only “contactees” have been given).
Well then UAP guys, what is your special mission and message for us all?
I’m all ears, but all I hear through your stories are spinning wheels.
You and Rob are running rings around these guys with the work you do, while these UFO experts do nothing but bounce off each other in their UAP echo chambers in a quest to rake in some cash and fame to prop up their earthly ageing meatsuits, before heading back into the void.
If these alien friends of theirs were really looking after them on their Earthly mission through life with all of these synchronicitires, then why do they always bitch and moan about how broke they are and how they have to put up paywalls on their web-sites to make a living, so they can bring us their vital messages for humanity?
    Rant over.
I have to go pull a beam out of my own eye now … or so my “vistors” are telling me. 😉
And don’t have a cow over my rant if you read this comment Whitley, as you are still an important pop-cultural icon in my opinion, but you are just one of the very many.
Consider it something to ponder over, rather than getting angry or insulted about it Whitley.
Maybe Grant would make an interesting guest for your podcast Trish, especially since he has had his “downloads” downloaded recently?
I have to feed my own elephant “visitors” now. 🙂

No problem on the rant! We rant about stuff, too. Or guest for today thought it was next Sunday, so we came up short on something to post. Now Andy’s going to be on next Sunday. Mercury retrograde stuff. I know you don’t buy it, Daz, but hey. There we are!

      • Darren B says:

No, I do buy that there is something synchromystical about astrology Trish.
It shouldn’t work in theory, but it does IMO.
I just haven’t been effected by Mercury retrogrades yet, touch wood.
Maybe my “visitors” have my back in times of the retro? 😉
I liked the chance of listening to your repeat podcast anyway Trish.
        Perfect timing I thought.
Is Andy your tech guy on the podcast?

        • Trish and Rob says:

Andy Paquette was the guest. Our tech magician is Jon Posey. Yes, that synchromystical element is certainly there in astrology!

        • Trish and Rob says:

Andy is the author of Dreamer. We interviewed him a couple of weeks ago, but were cut off by technical problems just as we were getting to some interesting material on dreams and ghosts and much more. So we asked him to come back.

Question for you, Daz. What are you referring to by this comment: Maybe Grant would make an interesting guest for your podcast Trish, especially since he has had his “downloads” downloaded recently?

          • Darren B says:

That’s right I listened to the first podcast you did with him about his dream book.
Grant Cameron reckons he has had some kind of alien download put into him or something like that recently.
I was listening to the free part of Whitley’s latest Dreamland chat with Grant and Grant keeps talking (really fast) aboot his “downloads”.
That’s why I thought you guys should have a chat with him about his “downloads”
