I’ve been hearing from friends who work in various departments of the federal government – the NSA, the Department of Defense – who are experiencing chaos in their jobs thanks to Musk’s indiscriminate firing of federal employees. Musk may be more of a master of chaos than trump. Several questions come to mind: who is the real president? Orange man or Musk? It appears to be Musk, who was not elected but has enormous power to do whatever the hell he wants.
The FAA employs 45,000 people and Musk has fired several hundred of them. From ABC radio:” In the weeks since President Donald Trump has assumed office, more than 200,000 federal workers at more than a dozen agencies have had their roles eliminated.”
Supposedly, these firings are to save money. But at every level, they have placed Americans at risk – with air safety, health, the food we eat, the education of children, national security, how we are protected as consumers, aid after devastating environmental disasters, our physical environments – water, air. Meanwhile, Musk himself gets richer at our expense. He has made 4 BILLION a day since trump took office. In essence, we now live in a country run by the very rich. Is this what trump voters thought they were getting?
Trump has claimed he would veto a national abortion ban.But orange man is a pathological liar so don’t be surprised when it happens.
In the midst of all this, I wonder about his and Musk’s plan to do away with the Department of Education. Why? To keep the populace stupid so they buy into all the BS he spouts? That’s why they ban books.
For DOD schools, trump has issued executive orders that limit discussions on transgender identities, diversity, equality and inclusions & has prohibited the DOD & its school from “endorsing un-American ideas….and any claim that America’s founding documents are racist or sexist.” Read about this travesty here.
What all of this really means is that trump and his gang of white boys feel threatened by anyone who isn’t a white guy. That’s a huge segment of the population and includes women, Latinos, blacks, & transgenders who voted for him.
Until now, I thought Nixon was our most corrupt president. But trump and musk have him beat.
Everything written here is already old news. In the past several days, more chaos has taken place, more firings, more government agencies shut down – or close to being shut down. Take the Department of Education. Really? Why? So you render the populace to the level of stupid? Put your minions in charge of schools so trump and his minions can brainwash kids? Or how about this: cutting off the funding for the sterilization of medical instruments for veterans.
