An important transit will occur on March 30 that I didn’t address in the March Star Power. Neptune entered cardinal fire sign Aries, the beginning of the zodiac. For the past 14 years, it has been in Pisces, the sign it rules, the last sign in the zodiac. Neptune governs, spirituality, the paranormal, heightened creativity, your visionary self and your illusions, the hidden, the unconscious, mystical tendencies.
It will be in Aries for the next 14 years. Until 2039. What can we expect? Well, the last time Neptune was in Aries was between 1861 and 1875. The American Civil War was between 1861-1965. With trumpies in charge, cozying up to Russia and Putin, we may find ourselves in another war. It will oppose Libra and square other cardinal signs – Cancer, Capricorn.
About every 36 years, Saturn and Neptune are conjunct, but on February 20, 2026, they will both be at 00 degrees Aries. Saturn rules structures, rules, physical reality, government. Sounds like the opposite of the areas that Neptune rules, right?
Richard Tarnas, in his fantastic book Cosmos and Psyche, has a fascinating section on Saturn/Neptune periods when epistemological conflicts between religion and science – and opposing political parties – are heightened, and skepticism runs wild in both directions.
History offers a perspective, but it doesn’t necessarily illuminate what happens this time around, between 2025 and 2039.
