Here’s a story that first appeared on a site called TheSpiritGuides.co.uk. It was submitted to the site by Tamasin McGregor. Seeing the last name, we took note and thought it was a good story worth reposting.
We’ll let Tamasin tell it. (Interesting first name.)

Synchronicity. To me, when an event is so coincidental that it cannot just simply be a random set of circumstances, I do believe there is a significance of such mystery that it may never be explained.
I also love scientists’ attempts to rationalise the mystery of life, and at the same time I feel sort of sorry for them that they cannot fully appreciate the divine behind the beauty they are trying to dissect.
I also love coincidence. Maybe because I am a lover of the mysterious, a watcher for divine intervention and a receptacle for spirit to work through me at times I am often told stories, usually unprompted, of coincidence which I feel have such synchronicity and intelligence about them that, surely, they can only have been orchestrated by something Divine and brilliant.
I met an acquaintance in the library and stopped to share her table in the canteen for a quick coffee. The lady told me she is moving away from the area. She had been looking at moving to Norfolk and on spotting an area called ‘Little Snoring’ on the map, she had jokingly called her husbands attention to it. ‘I don’t care where we go on the coast, as long as it is not there’ she told him. Looking for houses on the internet came up with the perfect house, price, size, style..it’s location? Little Snoring.
So, despite the address, they headed off for a viewing. As they walked around the house, this lady noticed some numbers etched into a beam in the main bedroom. ‘What is that?’ she asked. The vendor smiled and explained it was the day, month and year she gave birth to her only son. My friend also smiled, it was the exact day, month and year of her own marriage. They had their offer accepted on this house, the only house they felt a need to view and they will be moving shortly.

We’re not sure where Little Snoring is located. Maybe one of our UK visitors will know of it. We also would wonder about moving to a place with that name. But it this case, it seems that it was meant to happen.
Thanks for the clarification, Mike!
Just thought I'd say that there really is a Greater Snoring.
Sorry,it's me again (Daz),I forgot to include this link to the synopsis
(another syn word)of the documentary
that I mentioned above
https://www.sbs.com.au/documentary/program/virtualrevolution/about/synopsis
and I must say that I myself have only watched the first episode of a 4 part series,so my recommendation for the series is based solely on episode 1,but I must say that I'm hooked.
Cheers again / Daz
Here's a synchronicity that I'd like to share with the readers of this blog,as being a great fan of the internet,as most of you undoubtedly are, this information I feel would be a synchronous event in itself, when I pass it on to other readers who will only become aware of this documentary by what I have to say here.
I received a weekly e-mail from SBS (an Australian TV station, much like PBS in the States),which most times I don't bother reading or read too late and the shows that I find interesting have already screened, but tonight for some reason I decided to read it within less than a minute of this documentary starting and I must say it's one of the best I have seen all year.If you're as big a fan of the internet as I am,then you simply must watch this doco…if you're not, then this synch wasn't meant for you I'm afraid.
You can view it here on You Tube;

It's called "The Virtual Revolution" and I'm sure there will be "Little Snoring" while watching this .-)

P.S. WV=dects (docs)
…yeah,maybe a bit of a stretch,but it was worth a try.-)
Funny! Boring, Little Snoring…
I felt a real affinity to a charming town (20 miles north east of where we are) called Boring, Oregon.
But we didn't "roost" there because the potential jobs would mean a long commute. Yet, for most of the past 13 years we've worked from home with no commute. Which makes me wonder if it would be more fun in Boring. 🙂
I love it… that happens to me all the time :)!
I agree with you completely about names of towns, streets, Gyps. They must have a positive sound and feel to them for me to be comfortable. We are potentially about to adopt an AKC registered Great Dane youngster who was named "Diablo" by his breeder. Goes without saying, if he comes to live with us, his name shall immediately be changed! We had to go thru an application process although we owned and operated an AKC Great Dane kennel in GA. But it's for the safety of the puppies. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed we will turn out to be his "people"! My philosophy is that if this is the case, he'll come to us! If so, he'll have a name change! cj
love the story! however…the thing about the name… 😉
and i have a thing about names – i mean it has to "feel" right to me – one of the first of many negative things about the state of delaware to me is that a very large majority of town and street and road and beaches have negativity attached to their name – ie, broadkill neck, slaughter beach, to name but one or two –

Great story – it was meant to be their new home.
Thanks for the info, Mike. So there really is a Greater Snoring??!
I like your take, Connie. The souls roost!
What a nice story! I have the firm conviction that we generally seem to eventually 'roost' where our souls intend for us to explore the current life experiences. Altho I was born in Fl, when I was young it would have never for one moment entered my mind that I would be back in the state of my birth to spend the better part of this existence, but everything has simply fallen into place over time. I would love to know if the couple in Little Snoring have had other such unique
synchronicities. Wonder who in the world gave the town such a giggly name! cj
Little Snoring is about 3 miles from Greater Snoring – obviously! Only a small place with about 600-700 residents but dates back prior to 1085.
East coast, nearest big town Norwich.
