On the second day of Christmas…

…we explore the space between with an interesting article about how we are all one.

It made me realize that former U.S. senate candidate Christine (‘I am not a witch’) O’Donnell actually said something quite astonishingly on the mark in that same silly campaign ad when she ended it saying: ‘I am you.’

many many moons ago, my brother taught me the beautiful word "namaste" – a word i've come to love and use a lot – one of the last things he made for me before his tragic death is a beautiful flat rock from the mountains in arkansas on which he painted in red paint [with a touch of yellow] the word namaste – i always have it out wherever i am – as a paperweight or sometimes just on a windowsill where the light can touch the word – but i always have it out – a beautiful gift, a beautiful word and an even more beautiful meaning –

Ditto on the ring! On my right hand ring finger I have that one. On my left hand wedding finger, my wedding ring has "Beloved" written in Hebrew, which is beautiful. People are confused by my jewelry when they look at it closely. I only wear jewelry that has meaning. My Dad's small masonic ring on my right index; my own diamond Masonic Women's Order of the Eastern Star ring beside it on the middle finger. I have two small pendant necklaces: one is a pentagram (five-point star in a circle) with the caduceus from my nurse's graduation cap welded onto it; the other is Solomon's seal (six-point star in a cirlce) with a second caduceus on it. Solomon's Seal with caduceus represents the wisdom of Solomon with the art of healing. The Pentagram represents my essential spiritual preference with the art of healing on it. When folks ask me about my spirituality, my reply is that "I am everything". Some folks argue such a thing isn't possible, but it is. A little of this, a lot of that….creates balance and works for me. The only thing I don't wear is a cross, for reasons of my own, and I do get flack from the Christian sector about it, but my reasons work for me. To each his or her own. Hee hee. Funny WV: "conpol:

That was a great article…reread a few times and have bookmarked it to go back to as a constant reminder. I might even put this up in short on FB. I can think of a few friends that could use this reminder as well. ;D
I have a necklace that I wear that has the image you posted on it that I wear as a reminder when I'm out and about. I also wear a ring that has Arabic writing on it which says that the spirit in me honors the spirit in you. Being reminded that…we are all one…in love… is something I strive for, and it isn't always easy…so reminders are tools for me. Thank you.

Hope you had a memorable Christmas. MacGregors! xo
