Mercury Retrograde

Well, here we go again. On February 25/26, Mercury turns retro in Pisces . It happens at 10:48 PM Pacific time and on the 26th, eastern time, at 1:48 AM. Since Mercury rules both Gemini and Virgo, those two signs are likely to feel this as much as Pisces.

Usually, I caution people to follow the rule of the three Rs: review, revise, reconsider. In addition, don’t sign contracts, move or submit anything new. Since miscommunication tends to be the norm, check and recheck everything. Communicate as clearly as possible. But retros are actually ideal for looking back- at past relationships, decisions, jobs, unresolved issues and realizing what went right – or wrong.If you have problems with electronics, go to a professional who can correct things. Don’t try to do it yourself because you may make it worse!

Most important: hang in there. March 20 is closer than it feels!  The next Merc retro doesn’t happen until June 29 -the same day expansive Jupiter  enters Leo.

But: one good thing. I’ve noticed that during past Mercury retros, Trump – a Gemini & a disgrace to the sign – really gets mixed up , confused about basics. And hey,  as more info emerges from the Epstein files emerges, he becomes more erratic, chaotic.

NO KINGS PROTEST

On March 28, there will be another No Kings Protest. Find one in your community and plan to attend. The last one, in October, was attended by 7 million. But since then, we have seen the utter cruelty and inhumanity of trump’s ICE Gestapo & it would be fantastic to see 50 million Americans turn out for this one.

This orange monster of a president  & his administration of incompetent, corrupt and sadistic men & women desperately want to turn this country into a dictatorship – a kingdom, with trump wearing the crown!

So let’s get out there on the 28th and show what  power to the people means in peaceful protests!

Daily…

…I’m left with a kind of quiet hope that the trump admin is imploding. They push and push against laws, defy laws, sue and indict & then are defeated in courts – by judges, by juries. These horror shows are daily, hourly, with trump creating so much chaos it’s sometimes challenging to keep up.

I keep thinking – foolishly – that his supporters are getting it. But after  the super bowl, trumpies in our area commented about how awful the half-time  was, how obscene, nothing in English, just sex and drugs and, well…fill in the rest, you won’t be wrong!

They seem to prefer a convicted felon, a man who was “best friends” with a pedophile & may be one himself. They seem to prefer a man who has done so many things that are morally reprehensible to most people -and call themselves christians. They liked the turning point halftime better where kid rock sang, “Young ladies, young ladies, I like ’em underage/ See, some say that’s statutory/ But I say it’s mandatory.”

But Bad Bunny was obscene?!

Well, hey, at this point? Each to his own! However, if you change your minds, any of you, join us at the March 28 No Kings protest!

Trump’s whole thing was bringing jobs back to America, right? Making America Great Again? Instead, this spray-tanned dipshit has fucked American tech companies so badly that Europe’s spending billions to build competitors. He’s literally creating rivals to Microsoft and Google through pure incompetence.

He threatened NATO allies like they’re real estate he can flip, and now they’re building their own internet. Microsoft’s desperately trying to calm everyone down while their biggest export market walks away.

China and Russia are fucking THRILLED. Putin’s praising Trump’s chaos. Trump’s doing more damage to American economic dominance than any foreign adversary ever could.
And the worst part? Seventy-five million Americans looked at this dumpster fire and voted for it TWICE. You elected someone so spectacularly stupid that he convinced Europe to ditch American products and build their own.

Congratulations, Trump voters. You wanted to own the libs. Instead you owned American companies out of billions, destroyed American credibility, and handed economic opportunities to our competitors.

You voted for a Mango Mussolini Oompa Loompa motherfucker with the geopolitical sophistication of a swamp turd, and now American tech companies are paying the price.
France is giving America the finger. And honestly? Trump fucking earned it.”

That Periodontist

A tooth before it’s messed with

 

Recently, I went to a new dentist for an estimate on what a new crown would cost.

My previous dentist, who I think had Parkinson’s, did the crown but ground down the existing tooth so low the crown fell out.  A new dentist took over his practice and I made an appointment to see him. I was first in the waiting room but an hour later, I was still waiting and other patients had gone in for services. So I left.

The new dentist I found I liked. He sent me to a periodontist to find out if the gum around the tiny stump of the existing tooth needed to be cut back before a crown or an implant was performed.  This man seemed quite efficient, knowledgeable, had videos & an explanation of what was involved. I liked him okay until the end. When he asked me where I was from.

“I was born and raised in Venezuela.”

“It’s great that trump abducted Maduro,” he replied.

“Yeah, it is. But his people are still in control. Venezuelans are still suffering. And what this administration is doing in Minnesota, with ICE, is tragic.”

“Protesters resisted. Here in Palm Beach County  we had  No Kings protests & there wasn’t any problem…”

“I know. I went to that protest.”

Right then, he got this look on his face – subtle but there – that told him I didn’t share his admiration of the trump admin.”Well, that Scott Bessant and Marco Rubio in his administration are smart.”

Huh? “They are?” Bessant, a gay man with two kids who is part of a party that strips rights from gay people? Rubio, who acts along the same lines as Fidel Castro, the dictator responsible for his family leaving Cuba??

And that was where it ended. I got an estimate from the woman at the front desk. I would need an implant- which meant the existing tooth had to be extracted and then the implant inserted. Price: $2400.

When I told Rob about what had happened, he rolled his eyes. “Why did you talk politics?”

Hey, he asked where I was from so I told him.I didn’t start it. Now I’ve got a new dentist I’m going to see for an estimate,

I refuse to pay a trumpie for anything. So maybe I should ask this new dentist straight out if he’s a trumpie!

FEBRUARY 20TH

On February 20, Saturn and Neptune will be conjunct at 00Aries45. The 00 degrees of Aries is what we should pay attention to. It hasn’t happened since 1703. Look up historical events for that year.Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and 00 degrees is the first of the degrees. Aries, a fire sign, loves being first.

I’ve seen a number of astro predictions related to this conjunction. Saturn represents structures, authority, rules and protocols. Neptune represents the paranormal, the weird and the strange, art and photography and the beauty of the unseen, the sensed. It dissolves structures.

On November 9, 1989, when the two were at an exact conjunction in earth sign Capricorn, the Berlin Wall fell and changed history. Astrologer Ray Grasse offers an interpretation on Facebook & I hope he’s right about trump.

Other astrologers have provided predictions that don’t make much sense to me, but hey, the world as it is right now doesn’t make much sense to me, either. So if you’re an Aries – or even a Leo or a Sadge – please share your experiences you have on or around this date. I mention Leo and Sadge because you are fellow fire signs.
