This story comes from Gypsy and involves a missing checkbook, a precognitive dream, and a curious ending! We’ve posted a number of her synchros before and they’re all over the map- from precognitive dreams to instances of telepathy, to spirit connection.

It was an early morning dream. I was outdoors, it was dark. I realized a checkbook had been lost and I was looking for it in the dark. I went over to a utility pole and there it lay, on the ground at the base of the pole. I picked it up and said, “I found it!” The person I was saying this to was my daughter, Lisa. Even though
I didn’t see her in the dream, I knew she was there. After I picked it up, I turned to my left and backward a bit to hand her the checkbook. Then I woke up.
That morning, Lisa came straight into my room and asked if I’d seen her checkbook that she’d lost the day before. I laughed and told her told her I’d found it in my dream, at the base of a utility pole. I just didn’t know where the utility pole was.
The following day, I asked again about the checkbook. She still hadn’t found it. That evening, almost as an afterthought when I was on my way to bed, I asked again. “Oh, yeah, I did actually, and it’s really weird. I found it in my purse, but I don’t know how it got there because I know it wasn’t there. I know I lost
it.”
She had removed every single item from her purse several times, set everything out on the table, and the checkbook wasn’t there. She was totally mystified as to how it had gotten back into her purse.
I remembered I had handed it to her in my dream.

So, can items we lose in waking life and find in dreams somehow make it back into waking life? Well, why not? If a belief is strong enough, mountains move.
Yes Trish.. kindof creepy having something drop…I believe they have a name for things materializing like that..i can't remember what it is but there have been mention of this in some of the books I have read…i tend to believe the spirit world is very much active around us..and in some cases in tune with our feelings and desires in this dimension.
I know for a fact that things disappear and reappear again! Not often, but sometimes I will lose something and look in one place over and over, only to find it there later. So is that the "Trickster"?

Jenean! You put that chekbook back into that purse! My mother has had things materialize that had been lost many times.. our family has many stories of this..on 2 occassions she had lost a piece of jewelry that she searched hi and low for weeks for… and one time while talking to my dad at breakfast she was telling him of all the places he had searched for this ring and had given up for lost.. when all of a sudden they hear a "click" sound..and they looked under the table and there it was! dropped out of no where…! she has had this happen with a cross necklace and some other item..which I can't recall now..

Strange. I had a similar but different experience. There was no dream. I was living in a house with something very heavy and annoying that wanted my attention. One day my favorite pen disappeared. It was Cross pen, a gift from my mother. I knew that I had left it on the made bed, but it was no longer there. I searched the bed then the room then the house. Finally, I turned to the living room and fiercely ordered my pen to be returned. When I went back up to the bedroom, it was precisely in the middle of the bed.

well, the telling of the incident [by lisa] has come up several times since the checkbook re-appeared as she's adamant about the how/why of it all –
i have to say this is one of my favorite dream experiences – now, to discipline myself to do it at will –

When I lose things, I seem to find them again if I don't obsess about the loss.
I love this synchro! I feel like this same sort of thing has happened to me, but I can't think of a particular instance.. so neat!
I've found things following a dream but never put something somewhere as per the post. Great story and, as you say, all things are possible.

Hey Guys, I can't get the part of Gypsy's story after the words: "to spirit connection". There's just an empty black space, and it picks up again at: "Oh yeah…". Is anyone else having a problem or is this just the wicked retro mercury giving my computer a problem? Thanks! WV: brepak cj
