ANIMALS AND THE PANDEMIC

During this pandemic, I’ve noticed some oddities among animals. So I’ll start with our Golden Retriever, Nigel. Back in March and April, when dog parks were closed, we took him to a vacant lot every afternoon where he could run and chase Frisbees and balls. He didn’t seem to mind the absence of other dogs or people. But that’s normal for him. What wasn’t normal was how in the evenings he wanted one of us to sit outside with him and toss endless Frisbees and balls. It was when I wished we had young kids around who would play with him, engage him, make that fluffy tail whip back and forth 24/7.

I also noticed that Nigel seemed to become close friends with our cats, Nala and Beowulf. In the evenings when one or both of us sat outside in the front yard, tossing endless balls and Frisbees, the cats usually joined us. Sometimes, Nala pounced on Nigel’s ball and batted it away from her and Nigel would catch it. Beo often went up to Nigel and rubbed his head against Nigel, who responded with a butt sniff and a head bump with the cat.

Recently, we’ve been having trouble with mice, which were probably brought in by the cats and then escaped. The other day, the two of the mousetraps Rob had sent went off, I found a small snake – dead – in the living room, and a dove one of the cats had caught had gotten loose in the house. It had settled in a high nook in the living room that once had housed books.

We threw open the front doors, then tried to gently coax it out of that high spot toward the front door. Instead, the dove flew into the kitchen and ended up in a corner of the room, on the floor, utterly terrified. Nigel just watched the whole spectacle, apparently awed. The cats were outside. I finally scooped my hands under the dove and hurried outside with it.
Nigel followed me. I stood there in the sunlight, this beautiful little creature sitting unrestrained in my open hands, and we looked at each other. “Go,” I whispered.

It didn’t move. Those eyes remained locked on mine. Then I raised my hands higher and it suddenly took off, flying for the blue sky beyond our fence, and I thought, Go, go and keep going. And when I turned around, there was Nigel, watching the dove fly away.

I like to think he understood the importance of the moment, but perhaps he was only curious about why I was holding a bird. Or maybe he was captivated by the bird’s ability to fly. Or maybe he just enjoyed being outside. I don’t know.

We attribute human qualities to our beloved animal buddies, but perhaps the reality is stranger than we imagine. Suppose our animal buds are watching us? Suppose they’re asking who the hell we are?

HERE WE ARE…

On November 7, the world celebrated that Biden and Harris had become the President and Vice-President elect. But now it’s late on November 11, and Trump has yet to call Biden and congratulate him on his win. In other words, you know, trump’s being a really bad loser. He’s behaving like the elementary school bully who knows everyone dislikes him, but keeps on bullying anyway.

He’s fired people in the government and installed his loyalists. He’s planning for a coup in the same way that dictators have for years, using their allies – Barr, the attorney general; Pompeo, the secretary of state; Mitchel McConnell, who heads the senate; and of course, the infamous Lindsey Graham, hypocrite extraordinaire.

The trump lawsuits, according to a former prosecutor and friend, are a delaying tactic to get to December 14, when the electors vote. But, they figure, if you change the electorates so they vote for trump rather than who the people voted for, then maybe…well, it could be…maybe…

Retired General McCaffrey (Google him) spoke with Brian Williams at MSNBC and he named the American agencies that we should watch. He considers Pompeo’s announcement yesterday as “chilling.” The comment? That the trump administration would make a peaceful transition to the second trump administration.

In other words: a coup. Banana Republic stuff.

So this is where we are?! At the edge of a coup?

Eye Chihuahua: A Synchronicity Board Game

Rey Blanco, a synchro expert, has designed a board game for synchronicity and is in the process now of building the pieces. I’m looking forward to playing this game!

Rey’s explanation:

The four components

1) Space-Time Diagram

2) Circle of Observer, if any, with four functions of psyche’

3) Four Categories

4) Two appearances in spacetime

Dr. Beitman was kind enough to point out that his MIND-MIND, MIND-OBJECT, and OBJECT-OBJECT  fit in with the categories.  HIS OBJECT-OBJECT with the fourth.

So, I called this the Beitman component because it revised my earlier “little circles” that represtented the EMPs  (Energy Matter Psyche’ and non local not quite the other forms/formless)

The idea, of course, is to represent these Mind and Objects as they appear as if dancing/transforming in a variety of patterns.   That is how we can identify which category(s) are involved.

Naturally, that was not going to be enough, so in the right hands, players can explore deeper.

The Mystical Underground: Susan Yantorno: Physical Medium

A new episode of The Mystical Underground is live! “Susan Yantorno: Physical Medium”:

Join Trish and Rob for a conversation with…

Susan Yantorno, a retired veterinarian, who has had experiences that go well beyond our everyday physical reality.

Susan’s story is astonishing because of the frequency of contact with other dimensional beings, and its peculiar nature. Susan first contacted us about six years ago, after she heard us talking about our book, Aliens in the Backyard, on Coast-to-Coast with George Noory. Since then we’ve had a chance to meet with Susan and Greg several times, and they were both guests earlier this years on The Mystical Underground. So it’s time for an update.

Election Synchros

Mass events – like what happened on November 7, 2020 – are often accompanied by synchronicities. Today had several:

48 years ago today, November 7, 1972, 29-year-old Joe Biden won his first stint in the senate. What are the odds?

He will become the 46th president of the U.S. and his son, Beau, one of loves of his life, died at the age of 46. Also synchronistically, Beau died of the same type of brain cancer that killed John McCain. Biden and McCain were good friends, but on opposite sides of the aisle.

Trump called McCain a loser because he liked people who didn’t captured. McCain’s wife, Cindi, came out for Biden. And that may make a difference for Biden in the yet uncalled state of Arizona.

But even without Arizona, Biden won the popular vote by more than 74,000,000 million votes, more than any other presidential candidate in history. Trump’s take was the second largest in history – more than 70,000,000. This means we are a deeply polarized country and that divide must be healed in some way before we can truly move forward.

Where do we begin?

I’m vigilant for more synchros that may indicate the way forward.

The Long Election

yay! At 11:37 AM November 7!!!

THE DAY AFTER…

I’m writing this on Nov 2. Pretend that it’s Nov 4.

What do we know about the election? The future of this country and/ or own futures and lives as Americans? Has Democracy died because trump was re-elected? Will civility be restored? Can covid-19 be controlled? Will the chaos end?

So I erected an astrology chart  for Nov 4 at 12 noon to see if I could measure the general energy on the day after the election.

Capricorn at 26 degrees is rising in this chart. Capricorn is ruled by the planet Saturn, which represents – among others things – authority, government, structures. Saturn is exactly conjunct the Ascendant.

Mercury rules elections and in this chart, Mercury is at 25 degrees Libra in the 9th house square to Saturn. Squares indicate friction, challenges.

Jupiter at 21 Cap in the 12th house is conjunct Pluto at 22 Cap in the 12th house. This suggests that the election has been transformative in a way so profound that we can’t ever go back to before. It suggests big power plays with the judicial system (Jupiter), deception – Neptune forming a close angle to Jupiter and Pluto in the 2nd house – dark money? Nefarious financial infusions?

But. The sun in Scorpio falls in the 10th house – the public. People feel good about what they know so far. However, since the sun is in the most secretive sign and opposed to Uranus in Taurus (3rd house) by just 4 points, something unexpected and out of the blue may happen.

The 27 degree Gemini moon in the 5th house forms a close 150 angle to Saturn that indicates an adjustment in attitude is needed. This moon is trine to Mercury at 25 degrees Libra in the 10th house suggesting that we, the American people as a collective consciousness, understand what’s at stake here. And that’s why 95 million of us voted early.

What the last 4 years has revealed – a realization trump has facilitated – is that racism is alive and well in this country, that the disparity between rich and poor is wider than ever before, that the electoral college is archaic, a hangover from  an earlier era and and should be abolished so that it’s the people – the popular vote – that determines the presidency.

Trump has also revealed where the constitution is weak:

The Senate Majority leader must be mandated to bring every bill the house passes to the floor for a vote.

Roe v. Wade must become an amendment.

Any sitting president can be indicted.

Supreme Court appointments must have a time limit. Forget the lifetime appointments. It impacts too many generations.

Health care is a right, not a privilege.

The big argument against that is that private insurance will become obsolete – OMG, I love my insurance so much.

I’ve never heard anyone tell me that they love their private health insurance. The closest remark was from a friend who had spent weeks in various hospitals earlier this year for what I thought was covid. Her bill? Over a hundred grand. We were in the grocery store when she told me this and I replied. “Universal health care.”

“Absolutely not. I want a choice,” she said.

So keep your choice. But allow other people who aren’t as privileged as you – a white woman married to an airline pilot – to have a choice as well.

Okay, so the chart doesn’t address the stuff from that line about health care as a right…but you get the idea here, right? Democracy is at a crossroad.

Don’t hesitate to speak up, speak out, stand your ground.

Don’t self-censor for fear of what other people might think. What mattes if what you think, what you believe, what you feel in your gut, your bones, your very blood.

P.S. The new covid cases in the U.S. for election day was over 100,000 and nearly 1,200 new deaths.

ELECTION NIGHT

On every election night since 2000, I’ve stayed up until I knew, well, something.
In 2000, Bush vs. Gore, a Mercury retrograde screwed things up. I’ve written about that before. But the Merc retro had some help from the awful butterfly ballots in Palm Beach County, where I live, and that election ended up in the supreme court. We all know how that one turned out.

In 2004, Bush vs. Kerry, I went to our voting station and voted for Kerry. The voting machines were made by Diebold. Google it. There’s plenty of info about who and what. At any rate, I punched the square for Kerry. Bush’s name came up.I hit cancel, tried twice more. Same thing. I voted for Kerry, Bush’s name came up. Finally, in the fourth try, my vote worked.

I think that’s when I knew Bush would win a second term. Nonetheless, I watched the returns until early in the morning for that election. But one really beautiful event during that election cycle gave me hope. And that was a speech by then Senator Obama at the Democratic National Convention. I thought, He’s it. 2008.

And during that campaign season, Rob and I drove down to Boca or Fort Lauderdale, can’t remember which city, and waited three hours to hear Obama and Biden speak. I came out of there certain that Obama would be the next president.

On election night 2008, I started sobbing when Obama took Florida by a 2.8 percent margin, the first time since 1996 that a Democrat had taken Florida. Even the polls had indicated that McCain would take the state, Obama nabbed it with 51 percent of the vote and became the 44th president.

No, he wasn’t perfect. He should have pushed for indictments for Cheney, Wolfowitz, people in Bush’s swamps. In Flint, Michigan, during its water crisis, he shouldn’t have sipped from a glass of water that supposedly came from a Flint faucet but actually came from Air Force.

On election night in 2012, I sobbed again when Obama won a second term.
Then we come to 2016. I stayed up until two, I think, and went to bed sobbing because trump had won the electoral college.

Now here we are. November 2020. Trump vs. Biden. This is NOT 2016. We’ve had trump for nearly 4 years now, and know these things about him:

His lying is constant. Believe nothing of what he says. Where’s his health care plan that 4 years ago he said he would have in two weeks?

He’s the emperor with no clothes. Here’s what I’m going to do for you, he announced in 2016. And in 2020, the people reply: Yeah? Where is it? Well, hey, the boy is too busy tweeting.

We’re going to see a red wave like you’ve never seen before, he proclaims. Uh-huh, in which universe?

We’re rounding the curve on the pandemic, we’ve done a great job, the pandemic is over.
Oh, over? Even though we now have an average of about 70,000 new cases a day? How do you figure that one, trump? Because you announce the pandemic is over, is the virus going to flee?

Do you really believe you control the virus?

Huh?

Do you?

On election night 2020, I’ll be up until Biden wins Florida or Pennsylvania or Michigan or some other outlier. And I hope to be cheering and doing a happy dance because it means we’ll have a national plan for dealing with this virus. Because it means the president won’t be on the national platform 24/7 creating some new drama. Because it means civility is returning to politics and perhaps our country has started to heal.

Trump isn’t without purpose. He has exposed the racial, cultural, and monetary divides in this country. He has exposed where the constitution is really weak and needs to be amended. He has shown us why the Senate Majority Leader should be obligated to bring every bill the House passes to the floor of the senate for a vote. He has shown us why the supremes need to have term limits. Trump has shown us the ugliest, most vile parts of the collective American psyche and folks, it’s really dark.

But I think trump is also an American example of how a coup might happen. The stunt with the Bible, for instance, was one such signal about autocracy. The other was his photo op of removing his mask after his release from Walter Reed, hen he’d wanted to wear a Superman shirt. And behind that shirt is William Barr, his attorney general, his private lawyer dude.

A lotta people have gulped the trump Kool-Aid.

Yeah, he’s great at media opportunities.

And fails at everything else.
